4Rented truck from that place. Added insurance. Thanks God, took pictures all over the truck. After 2 month, received bill, it’s says i damaged truck, after 2 month. Now i have deal with this crooks. Very not good people. Not recommended. Do not rent from that place, please. Just stay away.
Rented a truck and broke down on my way back and penske had to tow it. Nextday morning I wake up and see 300$ charge and they kept the deposit I gave them for not returning the truck to same location. Not only they wasted my saturday night they also kept the money they illegally charged me for over 15 days. Had to call their office over 20 times to finnaly get the return cause after you hang up they void the return they issue for you. Horrible experience!
Excellent place. The staff (Cathy) was the BEST. Very friendly and almost matched the price of the competitor. Good trucks and always on stock.
Very rarely do I feel compelled to write a review, but I felt so poorly treated and disrespected by this company. I was more stressed out by my interactions w/Penske than actually driving 14+ hrs to/through NYC.
Rented a 1-way rental that I was meant to drop off at this location. There was no parking available (it's right next to the US Post Office and their trucks line the curb) and no mailbox for key drop-off. In fact, the entire front exterior of the door seemed to be fenced off and did not look like it'd been open for months. I was then sent to another location 20 mins away with the exact same situation. I called another time and then was advised to drive to yet another location 50 mins away during rush hour traffic with a 5-min window before operating hours were over. I was in contact with the customer service team at least 7 different times and was either hung up on after explaining my situation and being put on hold, or was given a different answer from the last person. Even after chatting in on their website and emailing them, I've been ignored or given different answers. There was little to no guidance on how to operate the vehicle at the time of pick-up (and they did not include all the materials I rented) and I've had to incur $70 worth of my own costs in Lyfts just to properly drop off the keys during operating hours (which was supposed to be reimbursed to me but I've given up hope of getting a response). Moving is stressful enough–I went with Penske for the price, but cannot recommend them at all. This was, by far, the worst experience I've ever had with renting anything. Save yourself the trouble of being given a runaround or ignored like me and go somewhere else.
