They did a fairly good job, but the work areas are in total disarray with item discarded randomly all over the floor. To be inviting to cutomers on a first visit and give the appearance that a repair job will be done well, your surroundings should reflect so. Whoever is the district manager has to be held accountable. When one sits in the waiting area, especially at the open, the area should be neat and inviting, not to be greeted by a table with scattered expired coupons and a coffee table full of dirty stains.

Not your old Pepboys. You cannot get updates unless you stay with your vehicle. I found a new place for my car maintenance.

I had to ask questions of the advisor that I should’t have to. He didn’t have any knowledge on the warranty, he told me to contact the manufacturer. I have never been told this by a PepBoys advisor. I asked because I didn’t see any of these online while booking the appointment or purchasing the tires. I asked about the wheel alignment told it was included in the service. It was not checked on the courtesy inspection report. I asked about warranty and mikes covered he did not know. When I received my email upon returning home it says in both queries that the customer declined warranty and wheel alignment which is not true. I tried contacting the number on the report for the manager. Left a message never got a respond. I tried calling the store back and got nothing. Although the advisor told me they were open until 6pm on Saturday. I’ve never experienced this service feeling unsatisfied leaving a Pepboys retailer. I would not go back to this location ever again.

Bait and switch money grab tactics. I asked for a labor quote for sensor installation and was given a quote of $250. When I got there the price went to $480, I didn't agree. The asvisor said " the system didnit" I requested a tire valve replacement and 1 day later the tire valve is still giving me problems. They have my money and didn't fix the valve.
My experience was less than satisfactory. I lost time, money and now I must still get my tire valve repaired. I don't even trust them to repair anything at this point.

Went in for a yearly inspection. Didn't have an appointment but was able to be seen as a walk in. The app estimated that I would be finished in hours but everything was done within minutes. Also the staff was friendly and professional.

Whatever you do don’t ever fix car from this guys. They are not serious at all, I went there yesterday, at the beginning they said 30min we will check your car and let you know, I have been waiting for almost 3hrs only to check what’s the problem in my car, ending taking my car from them and Runaway away, even the mechanical there they don’t know what they are doing, one woman was waiting there for 4 hrs only to change the tire to her car! If I could give 0 star I’ll

Second time I’ve been here…Such a cool, friendly and curious staff. Friendly over the phone and in person. They are willing to give you detailed explanations of everything you would like to know. Mechanics look like they take great care into what they do.

Orneil was superb she assisted me when I needed it most. I believe she is a Supv. & she took control of a situation that was frustrating and solved all issues. She is the best person in the place.

Carlyle was an amazing help from start to finish, he makes customers feel welcomed and at home. I was having a long day and he made it stress free and fun he needs a raise. His ornel was such a joy and I thank pep boys on Utica for there great service.

Used to love them. Not the same anymore. Schedule appt, still wait 5 hours for an oil change? Plus hand prints on the hood. Weird thing too. My dash cam was beeping as if it was reset to default, and the last two month of video footage for this month and last month was gone. Weird, because it's saved on a Micro SD card. Still like pepboys though, but guess I'll go to 4th Ave if needed.

The most horrible experience ever. Quoted $1,000 for a “refurbished” Alternator and after I said that was way to high, they said we can charge you $623. What a scam. This was after they had my car for 3 days and never touched it. I had it towed to another shop after they had it for 3 days and it was fixed and reasonably priced in 1 day.

I went here to check shock and brake they change everything but the shock booth on one side i dont know if they removed it or they buy without booth but i know when u buy full set of strut and shock booth is included but my they did not put it better to buy my own shock and strut with full set and its cheaper than to go here i complaint to them they said they bought the shock without booth

Don’t waste your time, place is trash, they’ll over charge you and the service is down right terrible. I came here because it’s in my neighborhood but trust me don’t come here.

Went from dreading car repairs to actually driving away with money still in my pocket and a great job at an extremely fair price
