Had this remarkable device since 1994.followed me thru 3 houses and kitchens, and, by the kids, probably did a surreptitious stint helping with sand castle construction at the beach. The thing finally broke 2 weeks ago. I contacted the company, which replied within TWO HOURS (!) of my email to promise a replacement: no questions asked. Within a week, I had my brand new mill, perfectly packed in a proper cardboard box and cushioning- NOT A PLASTIC MAILER BAG. BRAVO! The design and ease of use is remarkable- you will never use anything else Teutonic or Gallic to grind your pepper. If only these clever guys applied their skills to the current political logjam.
