The store is well organized, find what I need with no problems, staff very helpful, the grooming staff are wonderful with my pets - service always excellent and pick up orders is great too.

The level of customer service was unexpected my friend and I were discussing how whenever she babysits my furbaby he comes home not wanting the food I give him because she had him eating 'Just for Dogs' mixed with his kibble.and the cashier overheard us and asked me if I wanted to try it for free.so I did and Charlie had a nice meal that night. It was really nice of him to do that and now my furbaby can eat just as good at home.

One star based on customer experience; my cat is sick and with most cats she is a finicky eater as per Petco's policy you may return used or unused pet food. I stopped in to grab a new selection of wet foods as she did not eat the ones I purchased previously, the cans were not opened and due to not having my receipt for one of the returns (total of 6 cans) the cashier informs me that he cannot process my return at which point I asked for the company's policy which I reiterated to him; that I may return products with a valid ID for an exchange store credit. No apology was offered for his oversight, I completed my exchange and left. I will not be visiting this site anymore.

I love the store's selection, staff and grooming department, but the bathrooms are filthy and unkempt. There's a panel missing in the ceiling, floors are full of dust, toilet paper is never refilled and no paper towels or hand dryer. It's really disgusting.

The staff was very helpful and they are the only location that had female guinea pigs in all of Nassau county this week called and visited every other location and they only had males if any at all. The baldwin location helped me tremendously

Brought my senior dog here for years for grooming. A man tried to groom our dog and said they can no longer take care of her because she’s “aggressive”. She’s 18 years old, practically blind and deaf. She startles easily. Disappointed that they hire people who don’t have patience for older dogs.

Horrible customer service, employees don’t care about their jobs, have false information about pets-this place should be evaluated by corporate-dont go here just stick to any other petco or petsmart Absolutely horrible-ruined a planned birthday present, managers should be demoted and get off their high horse

I go there for the shots to my beautiful dribble and everything is fine the attention is great thanks to the staff for take care to my dog

It's great. We found everything we were looking for. There was helpful and knowledgeable staff. We plan to adopt some rescue dogs and cats soon and plan to frequent the store more for meet and greet with local Rescue Shelters. Convenient location and lots of parking. Definitely recommended!

Great prices. Went here most recently for grooming for my poodle. Our groomer Shaina was wonderful and took such great care.

This was the worst Petco I've been to. As you walk in you can smell how dirty the store was. There were urines and feceses all over the floor. I had to carry my dog around because I didn't want him to get dirty. There was no one to help. The employees were actually walking away. I'll never go back there. I was disgusted.

Sales people are very nice, courteous and want to help you. You can always return an item that’s not suitable for your pet. My Delilah a rescue pit chews everything they gladly let me change out my newly purchased product that did not meet her chewing needs. Petco stands behind what they sell. Their dog groomers are just the best. One pit I rescued was aggressive and needed his nails groomed this young girl alligator wrapped his schnozzle and cut those nails 123! I think her name was Shana, ever since I was loving Petco. The other groomers Maggie and Ava are fab.

Not liking the fact they ask if you want to donate your change when you hand them the bills because they don't want to give up their coins. I just didn't have any change at hand and I didn't want to use my credit card. Otherwise, the store has the food I need for my pup. So this probably won't stop me from going there but I'll make sure to have enough change.

I had to go to the store directly to buy my bird her food. I tried to order it online and it wouldn't work for me. When I found the item in store, it was $6.00 more than online. I mentioned it to the cashier and she told me to show her on my phone and she could adjust the price. I had issues with my phone so she was so kind and looked up the price on her phone for me. I really appreciated her going that extra mile and helping me. She did verify the online price was cheaper and honored that price. I was very impressed with her professionalism and helpfulness. According to the receipt, her name is Kileigh. A big thanks to her!

The staff were very helpful knownwherw the products were. Even done they didn’t carry a brand of food which was Stella and chewy dog food how they needs to had a bite more flavor in the blue buffalo brand because my dog is a small bread adult he is tried off chicken and brown rice didn’t see salom an brown rice I thought potatoes were not good to feed to your dog some off the menu had potatoes in them a bite confused.

Great staff depending on day of the week you go. The one staffer my girlfriend and I as well as my dog like so much is Joe. Hes the man that goes above and beyond and over the top to make his customers happy.

I called up to find if they had what I needed and Joe took the time and patience to look and tell me all the different kinds they had and than held it at the cashier when I got there
