Pete's Park Place Tavern, Bronxville NY

Pete's bar was recommended to me by a local so I took my daughter for dinner & we loved it the food was top notch, the service was good, the bar was friendly & it didn't break the bank!
I can honestly say the steak burger blew my socks off! I went back a few days later on my own & ordered the same again
Without doubt the best burger this English guy has ever tasted

AVOID! As a resident/influencer from Bronxville that has 250k viewers per location review based on my ratings, I couldn’t even get a beer when I asked for one & had a valid ID to show. LAST TIME I’m supporting this local business that sucks.

TALK ABOUT AN ESTABLISHMENT! This is the place to be. Hopped down here with the lads as we passed through bronxville. Asked the locals where to go and PETES was the place to be. Came in place was buzzin, gave the casual nod the the fellow customers. Burgers are huge served with a mountain of French fries!

I live in town and I really like Peat's and want it to succeed. Its a great place to have a drink and some pub food and the look and feel is amazing like a real NYC casual bar we know and love. However since the pandemic they have been not on their game the service is pretty inconsistent, more frustrating than good. Also I love their burgers. It a great place to have a break from your diet and have a burger and fries, but even after asking or euphuizing can I have it cook medium or even more pink they bring it out so over grilled that it is grey to back in the middle.

Perhaps I am looking for disappointment but in the last five or so times I have gone I have tried new strategies to try to get the burger cooked like i asked. Once I said can I get it rare knowing that if they overcook rare it might come out as medium. But it came out burnt and grey though and through. I asked the bar tender and he was like there just do what they do and wanted to move on.

So in summary, if you want a good place to sit and drink this is the spot, but you have to be ok with your teenage waiter and cook who are in basic training - come with a calm vibe and you wont get disappointed.

Firstly, This place is infested with mice. This is the first time I have been to a restaurant that I see a mice. My friend told me she also saw a Mice and a member of the staff stamp on it. Disgusting! Secondly, Mike the bartender is very rude and should Not be working at a restaurant, he has No customer service skills at All. He does not know that his job is not about interacting with patrons and having long conversations. He needs to have awareness of serving other customers and NOT to roll his eyes when a customer interrupts his conversation to request service. Most importantly, he needs to learn how to take the food order properly.

I love this place. The staff are always friendly, the food is lovely and the beer is fresh. What more can you ask for? Wel worth a visit if your walking round Bronxville

For a place that is supposed to be famous for their burgers it was an utter disappointment. All 3 burgers came overcooked (severely), the egg on mine looked as if I asked for it to be scrambled, the mushrooms were slimy and so on and so on. Not a memorable experience unfortunately.

Place has really went downhill. Service is horrible, everything is VERY slow since they refuse to hire adequate staff, I guess save a few bucks. Food has also went downhill. Once a go to spot is now I spot I pass on.

Pete's is a lively, inexpensive & simple restaurant/bar especially at dinnertime on a Saturday night!
A lot of families go for the children's meals and if it gets noisy you really don't notice. Plenty of parking in the lBrobxville train lot adjacent to Pete's

Horrible customer service, very rude and bad attitude.

Wouldn’t take a to go order over the phone because they said they were to busy - man was very rude. So I went in person to the bar to order a drink and food to go. Said I would sit there until the order is ready. And then was told again would still not fulfill a to go order. He actually took away the drink coasters he had put out for us. Asked for a burger medium well. Twice they couldn’t even just cook it where it would be edible. That’s unacceptable

Great neighborhood pub with a wide beer selection and even some vegan appetizers. Good service. Worth a visit.

I had the pleasure of meeting the owners/partners, Great People. This place has a great atmosphere. The buffalo wings were nice and crispy, but the real star of the show was the chili mac and cheese. 6 stars must try. Savory and Delicious. I will be back! Thank you!

The guy behind the bar with the white hair and mustache is rude! He doesn’t know how to talk to people. This place is a dump. Won’t be coming back because of him. Seems like he’s racist
