Petit Paulette reviews
11Had a fantastic and delightful experience during our first time here, on a cold Saturday afternoon. A cute little spot right on the park. We tried a variety of natural wines all to please our pallets. We shared the cheese board and olives. The manager Will was super kind and attentive during our experience start to finish. We additionally went next door to share an espresso, onion soup and burger which was divine.
Nice French place next to Brooklyn Tech. Definitely need to make a reservation prior to showing up. We was seated outside on the side walk since the boothes were full. I had thr Paulette Burger with fries and a salad. Good overall and so was the service. Knocked off 1 star for two reasons A: our table was in the middle of the sidewalk which caused me to feel uncomfortable with people walk right by and close our table. It was resolved by moving our table to the wall of the building. B: I felt the menu was a bit pricey for especially what I ordered. However service was great and I would come back again to get a seat in the Boothe or inside vs in the middle of the pavement.
I like their pastries, two buck baguettes and if you ask for a very hot oat milk latte, you get one.sometimes with a little smile or a smirk.which is a ok.good music playing, too.
The brunch menu doesn't offer options for people who don't eat eggs and meat (other than the veggie burger).
They also refused to substitute the meat with a beyond petty (from the veggie burger).
A great place to stop for a glass of wine or two. Excellent service.
The food is not the best however. The brunch menu is especially not great. Pretty uninspired, bland takes on everything with unappetizing bread used.
Espresso fan, morning review, giving 5 stars to the espresso maker Erica. I’s an art. Also such a nice place to sit accross from Ft Greene park on the morning. Little sister to Cafe Paulette but this one only open on week ends. Also serve croissants and such from la Bicyclette bakery. If you like tasty espresso this is the place. But leave me a table!
Favorite favorite favorite. The cutest spot in fort Greene in my opinion. Had a bottle of natural red (Gregory guillaume) and it was delicious. It’s the most ideal spot for ambience and people watching.très chic! It’s lovely that they are a cafe during the day as well, have a very fond memory of taking my mom here for coffee when she visited NY in the winter.
A cute little coffee shop by day, wine bar by night. It's attached to the restaurant Cafe Paulette but they are separate establishments. You can't move between them. Petit Paulette has a relaxed vibe a few seats inside, a few seats outside. The two folks there were reading. My wife had a latte and I had a hot chocolate, they were good. I have not tried the wine bar experience but would go back. Must also try Cafe Paulette proper as the menu did look rather tasty.
Probably my favorite relaxed date spot in fort Greene. Usually pretty easy to get a seat and nice selection of wines.
They have outdoor seats and the service is incredible. The vibe here is great especially if you want to interact with amazing people or just chill by yourself while overlooking Fort Greene Park. Great spot to bring your friends and enjoy probably a few, or a lot, of wine. Say hi to Joe, he's great.
I tried all the red wines available by the glass, and half the whites. Some of them were AWFUL (And I’m a pretty easy-to-please wine drinker.) One literally smelled like manure. I was with a friend who is a sommelier, and he called this place a “hipster wine bar, offering wines from folks who don’t know how to make it. ” Enough said.had one glass, won’t be back.
