Petrie Court Café, New York NY

Beautiful view of autumn leaves, but the coffee tastes like dishwater. Why does the Met management tolerate this, when so many museums around the world manage to have perfectly good cafés?

There was almost nothing left of the options (to eat), the food did not feel affordable and they forced us to leave (only today) earlier and eat everything we had in 10 minutes because you cannot leave with food or drink, all for one event. Other than that the place is nice but the tables are very close together.

Not worth stopping by nor is it worth buying. Lines are lengthy and there's really nothing to stop for. The atmosphere is tense and rugged. Meh.

The guy at the counter was very patronizing. The icecream was NOT worth $7. The service was poor.

The coffee is a disgrace to the museum. The pleasure of enjoying the art is washed away with what seems to be extracted from its own very sewage. Abysmal quality at an above-average price.

Nice view of Central Park. Pretty cafe with pleasant surroundings. Located in one of my favorite art museums. Good coffee. Good customer service. Can't be beat.

Highly recommend the pastries for picky eaters who want a fancy treat, especially the berry scone.

The only thing this place has going for it is that it is in the met. That is all. The individual who took our order was very disrespectful and acted as if we were a disruption to their day.

Do not waste your time or your money.

If you love The Metropolitan Museum of Art, having a drink, dinner or dessert at The Petrie Court Cafe, with views of Central Park, is a memorable experience.
If you happen to be there when Michael Hashim is playing with his band, you will not want to leave. He is playing again on Saturday night, 01/21/2023, from 6PM to 8: 30PM.
