PetSmart, Ithaca NY

Manager, as I was approaching the gentleman who did a great job helping me, interrupted me to tell me I can't carry the pet I just paid for out of the store.
She was rude and as I was told I could just carry my pet outside, clearly doesn't train her employees correctly.

I wanted to thank the grooming salon staff today for going above and beyond. There was confusion as to the scheduled date of our appointment, and they were able to fit us in even though they were obviously busy. Thank you again!

I love PetSmart even though it's a chain pet store people are friendly it's clean and I love their fish even though it's generic stock all the time. Lots of cute critters and plenty of inventory.

Petsmart is the best place to go for your pets. Plus you can bring them inside the store with you! Visiting Petsmart is just as exciting for my dog as it is for me, actually probably much more! Prices are very reasonable, seeing as how shopping for animals/pets is somewhat a specific field, sometimes with specialized items. One of my favorite stores overall, keep up the good work Petsmart!

Associates who work there watched a woman being attacked and when she defended herself they told her she was in the wrong and should leave. Oh also, Petsmart is a notoriously horrible company, when the one in Binghamton (I believe) flooded, higher ups threatened to fire employees who wanted to go into the building to save animals. The higher ups let those animals drown. But sure, give your money to this oh so pure and lovely company.

Nice store. When I was there the employees were checking that everyone was wearing a mask. They price match which is super nice for larger items that are just always cheaper online. The staff are always super friendly and want to talk about your pets.

Was a quick trip to grab some fish supplies, but all the employees that we interacted with were very friendly.

Went to this store for a parakeet, lovely selection of birds (and all animals) to choose from, fellow shoppers were friendly as can be. My low rating is due to the staff. We quickly picked out our bird and found a staff member to help us retrieve our new family member. First person was not allowed to fetch bird but quickly contacted the right associate for us and we were told she would be with us in just a moment. Approximately 25 minutes later the woman finally came but started doing other jobs asking us to wait another moment. This is when she proceeded to take care of hamsters, feed and water all of them for Approximately another 20 minutes leaving us just standing there. On the paper we had to fill out for new ownership her only job was to put upc number there for cashier, she put wrong numbers on and the cashier quickly called for assistance to get right numbers to which nobody would reply, so with 10 people behind me in line all equally as frustrated I myself went back to birds and photoed the upc number myself to finally be able to leave store. All and all, it took us over an hour to purchase one tiny parakeet we had picked out in the first 3 minutes that we entered store. Hopefully it is not always like this and other people have better experiences

A really good range of products and at good prices to boot. Pretty much the only place I go for pet supplies.

They are frequently missing the cat foods that I get. I'm not sure if it's their problem or manufacturer, but it has been very in inconvenient. Other than that. Staffs are ok. Oh and don't believe their website. They don't have cat grooming. I made appointment and it got cancelled without notifying me. I later called to find out they don't have cat grooming.

Nails and tails. ChiChi did good groomer was great. Kitty litter discuion distracted cashier so Cheech had to ask for treat to assauge his "trauma"

I buy their Simply Nourish for our dogs.it's their brand and our dogs love it and it's good for them.always a pleasure going there.the employees are always friendly and very helpful

Went in to get some things for our new bunny. I know that bunnies are not the #1 pet choice, but I would love to have more than a single aisle for "small pets".
Nevertheless, staff are great and the place is amazingly organized.

It's unfortunate that a big chain could be so amateur. The majority of Workers are always hanging around up by the registers chatting and not paying attention to anything but their conversation however, the younger staff is very friendly and attentive!

Crickets almost always pass within a few days of purchasing if not sooner. Cricket/Cat cages are always smelly and un-maintained.

Fine store, but seems a bit sad and depressing inside. Not sure why that is, but I get sad when I go here.

Expensive and you can always count on your fish to have ick from PetSmart. 200 dollar dog beds come on you do know Walmart is right behind you.

I bought my bird on April 14th 2018, passed away May 7th 2018.she was only 3 months old almost 4 months old. But what could possibly made the bird die so soon? Who knows, next day I went there to ask questions maybe they could of answer. I had her over 14 days they couldn’t help. Just to say call cnysnap because that’s where PetSmart bought my brid from and they sold her to me. I just wanted to know a few questions.it’s like they brushed it off and not even taking the time to talk

Love the bulk cat litter. It is cost effective and the cats love it. Lots of cute dog outfits and toys. Tons of leashes and anything else you can think of a go to.place for all your pet needs

I waited for service of crickets for 20 minutes I asked for help twice and still didn't get no help I ended up leaving and this isn't the first time this has happened
