This was a wonderful experience except for the massive number of mosquitoes! The hike up the mountain was not the most desirable once the elevation increased. Seemed to be all rock where water runs off. We found some side trails along side the steep Rock areas that worked better. Amazing view on top!

Very remote!
You are really almost out in the middle of no where!
I will say this, bring hiking shoes! Some areas are very muddy and slippery.

Also bring bug spray. Tons of flies and mosquitoes. From what we saw. Other then that beautiful!

Gorgeous mountains, beautiful trails. Hiking access to the top of Mt. Stephens is near Summit High Adventure Camp at the Read Scout Reservation. Moderate hike to the top!

I did not have a good experience at Pharoah lake park the hike was not gonna be long and it was flat so you think it would be easy but it was not there was mud everywhere and tree branches now that’s common on hikes but there where so many mosquitoes here and they where eating me alive not to mention I used bug spray

Love this place. People have really taken care of it. Still remains clean and people pack out their garbage. Pleasant weekend. Buggy but enjoyable. Too my german shepherd for his first overnight

Really beautiful trails. There are so many frogs! We saw a small little snake. The stream is beautiful. I love the sound of it babbling. The trails are made very well, everything is structurally sound. The canopy provides shade and cover from rain. We found a boat with two oars (one is broken) near a swampy pond. My dog and my friends all loved it!

Beautiful place to go backpacking. Remember Leave-No-Trace, always do the Rock Hop, and if you Carry It In, Carry It Out.

This is an absolutely beautiful place to explore and hike. There's so many places to check out it would take weeks to see them all. Highlights are the views from Watch Point on Pharaoh Lake and the summit of Treadway Mountain.

Short swing trail to tubmill marsh lean to and lilypad pond lean to was a great hike. I feel the trail should be rated as moderate and not easy. Many ups and downs and sometimes hard to find trail. Many trail markers had fallen down and it seems the trail isn't traveled much a little after tubmill marsh lean to. Very scenic! The waterfalls about a half mile from lilypad pond lean to were worth the hike alone. Overall a great trip

Very beautiful, but very crowded. If you want a remote area, this is not it (you can hear everyone in the sites around you). The campsites around Pharaoh Lake are some of the coolest I’ve been to and had great views around it. The hike to the lake isn’t very strenuous either, mostly flat trail for the most part.
