Phil's Pizzeria & Restaurant Syosset

Very disappointed tonight. They do have great pizza. I Ordered an 18 inch Pizza & got a 16 incher. The pizza was slightly over cooked and the tomato sauce & cheese were not spread out enough. I ended with a lot of bread ends. This is one way to save on costs and fall short on good product.

Love Phil's! Whether you're there for a quick slice or dining in for dinner, you can't go wrong.

Beautiful restaurant - fantastic staff - creative owner who is always on premesis working! Food is incredible - LOVED the Valentine's Day array of dishes I picked up. Also thoroughly enjoyed the Brimstone Loaded Baked Potato Pizza.it's another level. It's highly suggest stopping in!

Chicken Parm Hero $15 - Terrible - chicken is thin, hard and chewy. The bread was very good, the sauce was good, minimal cheese on hero. This is my 4th time giving them a chance to get it right, only to get same consistent terrible results. Lentil soup $10 - the Progresso lentil soup was good, but not for $10.

Delicious. Got some slices as takeout. Excellent. Definitely going there again when im in town

Phenomenal pizza, pasta, and salads! First time, loved it. Great staff and clean space! Perfect for families and super kid friendly.

Fried calamari appetizer was perfectly cooked, Chicken Parm dinner was great as well. Overall a very good experience. I highly recommend Phil's in Syosset.

Food was good and staff extremely friendly. Had the nfl game of the day on. Ordered a pizza and a grilled chicken with peppers. Both were well made and hardy portions. The food came out quick and was cooked to perfection. Our waiter was good with drink refills. Will go here again when in the area.

Very disappointed today. I ordered a chick Francois and all it came with are 2 cutlet and a small pasta. All for 22+ dollars that’s just crazy. I’d be willing to pay cost increase but these portions are lacking sauce and food. I have a sinking feeling I won’t be back too bad food is ok. Better than some in the area.

All of the classics done right as well as some unique and inventive pies and dishes. Family run place doing it how it should be done. Can’t recommend highly enough.

If this place is going to close their kitchen at 9 but say that they're open till 10 on their website Then they should say on their website that they close the kitchen at 9 PM. When you call they don't answer their phone after at 9 o'clock so you drive by there and the guy at the front counter fights with you because you're asking him why they're not answering their phone yet the website says they're open till 10.highly disappointing, they lost 3 customers!
In response to the owner's response? If your employee had not given me the response he did and attitude, had you posted the correct info online and had they made an effort to accommodate a customer that has been going to your venue for years with family and friends you may have gotten more than one star, but all of this was so upsetting, especially the lack of customer service mind you, that you received one star, because I had nothing else to base my visit on except everything negative!

Was looking for a place for lunch while in town and Phil's prices/menu looked good, but it was their spicy replies to reviews (mostly re: credit card charge) that convinced me to try them out.

Glad I did! Their fettucini alfredo was great, the rice ball was delicious, and the portions were big. If I'm still not working on leftovers, I may return tomorrow.shame I'm by myself on this trip, 'cause the specialty pizzas look amazing!

PHIL'S PIZZA IS THE BEST PIZZA IN SYOSSET. CHANGE MY MIND!

This is my go-to spot for Italian food in the area. Me and my family eat here, take out from here, and cater our parties from the Syosset location at least 2x per week.

The service is as solid as you're going to get, as we know COVID and the stimulus payments have prevented GOOD people from wanting to work.

They have a 3.96% surcharge for credit cards POSTED ALL OVER THE RESTAURANT! Don't act dumb when you see the charge on your bill.

A lot of the negative reviews on here are cowardly people who do not know anything about trying to survive as a small business during a pandemic and inflation.
