Pho Bang / Phở Bằng reviews
15Great staff, excellent food. The staff helps you with the menu selections. 100% authentic.
It’s good to find an Asian (Vietnamese) restaurant in NY. Pho is very good. Staff is very friendly.
Soup amazing spring roll tasty and esp the beef balls very handmade and bouncy. I didn’t like the pork chop as much something off about it. The jalapeños is amazing as per usual i love them, and the fish sauce is perfextly mixed not too vinegary or powerful.
But the service and attentiveness of the staffs are so nice and warms my heart just like the pho.
Love this place. This place has been here for decades. I remember comming to this place during High school back in the 90s. Great authentic food. The staffs have been there forever.
Wirklich gutes Restaurant und geschmacklich wirklich hervorragend tip top Service inklusive
Delicious refreshing deep flavored broth and tender rare eye round really make their pho one of the best. Fast and friendly service makes a perfect quick lunch spot.
Very good and traditional Pho, together with very nice and supportive stuff is an unbeatable experience!
Whenever I'm in NY again, I will be here!
Nice nostalgic ambience for this vietnamese eatery.the service lady was so friendly and nice.
Yeah disregard the bad reviews. One of the best authentic Vietnamese home cooking spots around. You can’t rate on just pho, you have to try their other dishes. Get #53 - pork chop over rice
Pho Bang on Mott ST Chinatown
The ok
- we ordered pho, summer rolls and beef stew noodle
- the broth was good, and the beef stew had good beer brisket with tendons
The not so ok
- the one gripe, the noodles were a tad over cooked for my taste
- the pho noodle was so over cooked, you couldn't pick it up with a chopstick, it was so fragile, it will simply fall apart, over cooked.
Overall experience: decent Pho place, a bit pricier than others, good broth, overcooked noodles
This place is no frillz. Not fancy but great Vietnamese dishes. Been going for 20 years. Great if your on a budget.
Such a gem. Perfect spot for some comforting and affordable pho. Quick service and can always get a seat.
Cant wait to go back, flavors are so authentic. We had Pho and chagio, both portions were very large although we order regular sized Pho. Food is still very inexpensive and they took my card. Not sure if it was all cash before but I was able to use my bank card without a problem.
Best deal 10$ lemongrass chicken and small side of pho broth for 3.50$. Bread was so fresh! Absolutely loved the pho broth!
The only decent place for pho and summer rolls. I'm Vietnamese and and always disappointed with the restaurants here which cater to Americans and Chinese tastes. So this is my go to for pho.
