What an amazing place to delight one's eyes with the river and the city, a quiet place to meditate too!

Nice place to stroll, chill, and relax. Early morning walk is the best here and also watching the sunset.

My new favorite hang out spot. Love the scenery. Great place to take out photos or just to relax and have a bite

Well maintained, nice breeze in the evenings. It’s just the people that makes or breaks the place to change your personal experience.

The music may not have been the highest quality, but the overall experience was absolutely great.

Cool place to take a stroll and enjoy the view across the Hudson river.
There’s live entertainment/music on many occasions and although it’s always lively, never crowded.

Great spot for relaxing and watching people go by. Lots of seating and lawns near the path, with a few lovely gardens interspersed throughout, including the Apple sculpture. The pier itself has plenty of lawn space as well, but the main attraction is the panoramic views of lower Manhattan, NY Harbor (including the Statue of Liberty) and across the Hudson with city views of Jersey City and its quite impressive skyline and Hoboken and Weehawken as well. Can be very crowded on a nice weekend day, especially in the Spring and Fall.

Wide views of water, breezes, sunshine - and in theory, dog-free lawns. Little tree cover available but there are many other books, crannies, and lawns in the park with those amenities

I love it here. It's pretty. I was a teenager when i first came here. It was dangerous, sketchy. Clean. Safe.

Great rustic decor in small cozy place. Great place for brunch. Not too busy if you arrive before 11am. Good portion, friendly attentive staff. Mimosa was not flat!

Yeah this place is nice. Only saw it in winter. Very peaceful waterfront views. Safe and good to sit quietly around. 20 mins walk from the world trade centre.

Pier 45 at West and Christopher Street is part of the Hudson River Park Trust that comprised of 5 miles of riverfront recreational fun from Battery Park City to the Hudson Yards.

Pier 45 was also known as the Christopher Street Piers because there was a few old and rotted piers that one can sit and enjoy the Hudson River, the boats on the Hudson River, the New Jersey shores and the magnificent sunsets.

It is much more beautiful nowadays, but less character.
Call me old fashion, but I prefer character to beautiful.

The sunsets was my favorite of all favorites.

The CoronaViruse Pandemic has caused so much pain to all of humanity, one must feel defeated at 1 point or another.

However, I am sure we will prevail as New Yorkers, as Americans, and as human beings. May God have mercy on the Souls of Earth. Do not lose hope.
