Pig Heaven reviews
24Honestly the Chinese food really is not that good for what they charge. Extremely overpriced in my opinion and I think you will get better Chinese food from a whole in the wall. For the prices they charge, I might as well go to Phillipe or Tao for some real authentic Chinese food. I don't completely give it one star though because the delivery is fast and the customer service is very good in my opinion.
Quick service. Friendly staff. Clean. Good quality dim sum. We had popcorn shrimp which was tasty. Spring rolls were hot and crispy. The soup dumplings were some of the best I have ever had. Sesame chicken was great. Lots of sauces and condiments for everything. Limited beer selection. Many cocktails Defaulted to forks but we requested chopsticks and they were immediately provided. No complaints very solid.
Always a pleasure dinning here. I love how the owner is always there to greet every guest. Food was amazing like always.
As a Taiwanese, I am very disappointed about the quality of food I had in this restaurant. It’s the American Chinese food to me.
“TOTALLY OVER RATED “!
I ordered beef W/ broccoli it was extremely greasy to the point I had to drain the oil, tasteless and the broccoli was not fresh. Also order shirmp dumplings they were basically almost raw and I didn’t even get dumpling sauce to go with them.
The hostess is rude and passive.
It’s also over priced.
NEVER AGAIN!
The best place in the city. The owner is the sweetest person you can ever meet. I was amazed to see how the owner Nancy takes the time to go table by table to make sure everyone is happy with the service. Love it
It begins with the greeting and
carries through the wonderful
Delectable FOOD A WInner!
I enjoyed my night at Pig Heaven. Nancy was so warm and friendly. I felt like I was home. The workers were kind and friendly. The food was so good. I will be returning.

Wow! Great spareribs and excellent version of General Tao's Chicken. Hostess with the Mostest! The owner Nancy was warm and welcoming and danced with our 2yo daughter!
Awesome Chinese food. A notch better than your normal cheap spot for sure and you pay a little extra for it. Worth it for sure.
The Cantonese Roasted Chicken had absolutely no flavor at all bar its crispy skin. However, the owner and waitresses were really courteous. That still doesn't make up for the mediocre food at a ludicrous price.
Disappointed! We Ordered the whole duck, no one ate it. It was dry and tasteless and it came with thick tortilla's and it was cross btwn a Mexican tortilla and chinease. The scallion pancake was not edible. The mixed veg was forgettable. The flat noodles with beef and chicken with veg was very very ordinary. We drove all the way up town for this? I would give Wa Jeal Sichuan Chili House 5 stars in comparison to them. Not happy.
Best sit down Chinese on the UES. Nancy and the ambiance may be trapped in the 80's, but it adds to the charm. You'll be sure to meet her as she says hello to every patron. I'd recommend the cold sesame noodles and you can't go wrong with anything Pork related!
My friends and I came to NYC for the weekend from Boston. Kelley Ripa spoke highly of Nancy’s Pig Heaven on her show. We had to try it out. We where greeted by a beautiful friendly woman, who turned out to be Nancy! The ribs, cantonese duck and orange chicken where absolutely delicious! We will definitely be returning.
Liked the service and food. Environment is OK for NYC. I guess on the better side of any other Chinese restaurant. The BBQ rib was really good.
Fun place.
The food is neither bad nor excellent. It is just that comfort Nyc Chinese food that you want it to be. The paragon of Chinese food places, really.
I ordered takeout and I must say the food was very good! The spareribs are everything. They were great not dry just enough! I also ordered the pork fried rice it was done right! The reviews did not lie. I would recommend this place!
My colleagues and I start at their bar, end up at a table when one becomes available and leave the happiest bunch EVER!
Just when I thought this classic Chinese rock star of a restaurant was gone forever.she turns up (again) in my hood! Pretty much the best Chinese food I've ever had. Thanks, Nancy Lee!
I saw this restaurant on the food channel and decided to give it a try. The customer service was like none i have encountered this far super amazing! I would definitely go back. Service 10 Customer Service 10 Food 8 Cleanliness 10
