Pine Ridge Conservation Area reviews
5Just eh no good for mountain biking although there are a couple of cool beginner trails hidden deep inside.also, is there a legitimate parking for this place? I had to basically sneak into the office plaza!
An isolated forest I didn't see another human being there is no official entrance and the whole forest is full of insects that don't leave you I ran away as soon as I could not come
Trail is pretty isolated and not well marked. You will come across abandoned cars and household items. Easy to get turned around because the trails criss-cross. #urbandecay
I went on a beautiful Sunday afternoon recently and NO ONE was parked in the lot; a security vehicle nearby drove to where my car was and waited there. I was only on the path into the conservation area for maybe 2 minutes and came back to hear that my car would be ticketed by police and that the area was "Hot. " What's going on there? Regardless, I did not get a great feeling about the place and won't be back.
Nice trail, some interesting and creepy things you come across during the hike, one of the many reasons I love the woods.
