I can't recommend Pizol's BJJ enough. It truly has become almost a home away from home. Pizol is a fantastic teacher and mentor. I leave every class with more understanding of the sport because of Pizol's patient and cerebral approach to teaching. Not only are the classes elite, but the gym is clean and safe.

Other BJJ gyms will kind of throw you into the wolves and give you the treatment of "hey if you like it, sign up, if not, then don't waste our time" but I never felt that. Everyone was extremely welcoming from the moment I walked through the door and stepped onto the mat. One thing I also noticed about Pizol's BJJ is the kids are always leaving their classes with smiles on their face. It truly is a very welcoming BJJ gym. Pizol's school is very foundation-based focused where white and blue belts will get the opportunity to learn from not only Pizol, but other black belts. It doesn't matter if you're a beginner or a person who has 10-years experience, this place is for you.

My only regret is that I wish I had started sooner!

I've had the pleasure of knowing Professor Pizol for well over a decade. He is a very knowledgeable Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt and has spent several decades mastering the art of Jiu-Jitsu. Over the years, I have visited many different academies in the area and I believe that Pizol BJJ is the best martial arts school in the Port Chester area hands down. There's a great room of training partners, the facility is immaculate and there is plenty of free parking. If you are considering changing your life and taking up martial arts, I highly recommend seeing what this academy has to offer.

One of the first things I did when I moved to Westchester was look up a place to train jujitsu. Pizol welcomed me with open arms and I have truly found a home here. He’s like a father figure, brother, inspiration and confidant to me. It’s much more than a place to train it’s a family it’s gotten me through some of the hardest times in my life and I am forever grateful. The friends and knowledge acquired here will be with me for a lifetime…
