Planet Fitness, Ithaca NY

I love everything about the gym except all the ceiling fans are over the treadmills and there’s nothing over the Elliptical’s where they’re definitely needed. It’s hard to work out as you get so hot you feel like you’re going to pass out. I’m going to have to check out other PF locations as I can’t work out in those conditions. It’s sad because I love it there.

Planet fitness is a great place to get your work out done, very clean facility and great customer service.

Going here since 3 months. Ever since I joined, one of the soap dispensers in the woman's restrooms is broken. Any plans on fixing it? The employees at the counter seem to mainly spend their shift scrolling on their phone. The calf extension machine is broken as the tricep push down and one of the stationary bikes. Overall really unclean in here. See picture of sink in woman's bathroom. Would appreciate improvement.

The staff here are amazing and very friendly. They always make sure the equipment is cleaned and towels topped off and the bathrooms are also clean as well. I always feel welcomed here and appreciate their undivided attention when I need something. Best crew I've seen in many years.

Went Friday evening 5/26/23. Half of the locker doors in the women's locker room are broken off. Was told there are fold down chairs in the showers (guess that's only for men) because all that was in the women's side were two small shower stools. The lack of hooks in the shower stalls made for towel and clean clothes to get wet. Was also a puddle of water in front of the lockers just inside the door.

Had to search many cleaning stations to find spray to clean the equipment I had used. IF there is a next time I'm not going to bother if there isn't spray at the closest station.

Certainly not worth the cost.

Nice affordable gym with plenty of machines. It’s convenient to pop in for a second or get in a nice long workout. Facilities are clean as well. Great deal!

Like other reviews state you rarely see staff cleaning but my biggest complaint is the lack of customer service. Staff are always on their phones or talking to each other and ignoring guests, it's like pulling teeth trying to get someone to look you in the eye! Update 05/14/23 saw a staff member cross-legged on the check-in counter with their face in their phone. Some good employees

I have been a member for about two years, the place is ambient and staff are amazing. The gym is clean and reasonably crowded most of the time.

You shouldn't have to add bank account details just debit card is sufficient. I bet they lose a lot of customers.

I like how this place is not too crowded, not that many loud and annoying people, and facility is pretty clean overall

First time there, 2 people at the counter, both awesome about walking me thru the steps for the First time process. Showed me the equipment and the extra amenities. Only down side was guy in shower trying to sing Taylor swift but he was screeching like a pterodactyl

Andrew and his staff are awesome. Very friendly and keep the gym clean and well stocked with supplies to keep it clean. The staff is always helpful and knowledgeable. Love working out there.

They have lots of equipment. I was almost overwhelmed, but I had no problem using any of the machines. Nice locker room.
