Planet Fitness, Astoria NY

For the past few months they haven't charged my account, I assumed because my 12 months was up & I needed to renew. I never did but when I went to return to the gym they said I owe them $245 how? Worst ever

I am a student in middle school, I am a hardworking student, I love my school very much. I respect my teachers and listen very well to their guidance. I love my classmate group. I like reading especially reading stories, so, I go to the school library to read.

Needs to have a real personal trainer that tells you what to do when you don't know anything about fitness

This planet fitness is pretty clean. People actually put back the weights and wipe down the equipment. The staff also periodically walk around to clean the equipment. Dumbbells go up to 60 pounds.

Place is clean and neighborhood is very busy so you can go at any time of the day if you prefer to stay away from peak hours like early morning or late nights. My only complaint is the peak hours when you can barely get a machine to use. Parking is also a bit tricky as Steinway is very social and busy area.

Very bad customer service. They put me hold on telephone more then hours, 3 times 3 different person heard my same complaint and put me hold again and again, did nothing. My problem is not solved yet. Looks like they don't care customers, It was very disappointing.

Chill gym with nice people around. I would recommend this gym for those who are new to gym or with some experience from "home workouts" looking for a new challenge.

I like the place, and staff is nice, but I can't give more than 3 stars. A gym without, the probability the 2 most important pices o equipment, a bench press and a squat rack, can't be take very seriously.

Comfortable environment to work out in. Staff can be a bit rude at times, but over all very nice. Equipment is amazing and gets the job done. Love it.

Gym memberships are too high. Joined Planet Fitness for its low membership fee and it turned out to be a good gym.

Bad experience for today with the front desk new guy.made me hate planet fitness. I won’t renew my contract for next year. I’m done with it

While the price is right, this place went steeply down hill after opening. Dirty, unclean, messy, trashy. I was really sad when that happened. I suppose it is to be expected. Two floors, TV, locker room. Drinking foutains.

Worst gym ever poor staff no one can help and a horrible service they r robbing the people off never recommend this place

Im going to start going back but I like planet fitness they have more work out machines its just they should have sign by equipment saying 30 min workout on each machine

These people charged me $185 for Not Working out.
Its supposed to be month to month contract, but it's not.young know black is white and white is black.

If you want to train seriously, avoid this gym! You need to be extremely lucky to get bench or scot machine, which are basic in every workout. I have paid for membership but I won't go, will go to Blink which is close and much better! Strongly recommend to avoid this gym!

I’ve been other PF’s and definitely this one is with bad front staff.
Specially a young female greet to only certain customers and have look of ‘what now? ’ It is subtle thing but people can tell. Not sure if it’s just her personality or who knows what. Makes me pretty uncomfortable enough.
Otherwise decent place.
