Planned Parenthood - Syracuse Health Center

Beautiful facilities, amazing staff. So glad to see my insurance pay for services so sorely needed.

I do NOT leave reviews ever- but the service I received at this Planned Parenthood deserves it. I arrived with the typical protesters outside, leaving me with more anxiety than I came with. The second I stepped into this PP I felt immediate relief and comfort. Every single person along the way was incredibly kind and attentive. I touched base with about 8 (yes, 8!) staff throughout my appointment process (from front desk to nurses and doctors) and I always felt so safe and completely heard. Aside from the comfort the staff brought me, they are all very knowledgeable and I never felt like anything was done only half way. I traveled about an hour to visit this Planned Parenthood as opposed to one closer to me and it was so worth it to leave feeling more whole than when I arrived. I highly recommend this Planned Parenthood for ~any~ service you are seeking.

The whole staff here was incredible! The desk attendants were so sweet and made me feel so comfortable. I was nervous but the environment was comfortable and very welcoming which made me settle in and my nerves go down. The nurse that I had, Cece, was so sweet and is so good at her job. I hope I spelled her name right. They were very welcoming and made the uncomfortable topic and appointment natural and easy. Schedule an appointment over the phone its much easier than the website I found. (:

Just visited there and have to say my appointment was PHENOMENAL.from the secretary to the nurse to the PA, everyone was amazing and everything was fast

I’m not usually one to complain until I ABSOLUTELY have to. I’ve been on testosterone for three months now through planned parenthood. It is literally 1 prescription a MONTH and they somehow cannot manage to send it through to my pharmacy on time. 2 of those 3 prescriptions have been late on planned parenthood’s part. Don’t go on testosterone through these people if you’re not willing to go 1-2 weeks without it. Not to mention I’ve been trying to call this place CONSISTENTLY over the passed 30 days to refill my medication and I’ve only had 1 person answer the phone. Highly disappointed

Clean facility but they do not not answer call been calling for 3days no answer goes in to get my results printed & I was told about a online portal but was not given the token number so I can’t even log in

I can never get through to make an appointment or even refill my prescription. I frequently go weeks without my medication. It’s messing with my body really bad and my mental health has been horrible. I’ll be changing doctors soon if it doesn’t change because it’s not worth the torment.
Edit: Got my medication but woke up to an incredibly rude call this morning at 8 AM (2 seconds ago) to a nurse being wicked passive aggressive and yell speaking to me over a voice mail I left after 2 weeks of having no meds crying and sleeping almost all day everyday. They way they’ve spoken about my partner in previous conversations has also made me feel uncomfortable and come off as blatantly transphobic. In they way they talk about trans people and the questions they ask.which is why I left my last doctor.

Same day appointment. Very friendly and helpful staff. A little wait but that's expected. Definitely will be coming here again.

These guys never know how to do anything in a timely manor, constant hour long waits just to get into 5 minute appointments, and to renew a script requires an least three or four phone calls because no one does it the first few times. Never a pleasant experience here.
