Love the bright lights colors and ambiance. Very welcoming and inviting. Associates were very helpful and friendly.

Do not recommend. Prices are ridiculous, even for NYC especially comparing it to the nearby Jamba Juice. Service is not so quick even to take your order. So don’t go in if your train is coming soon. The place seems nice and kept clean which is what attracted me to this over the other juice places, but unfortunately it is not worth the price.

I used to go there often since I travel a lot in Amtrak and everything was great but I got food poisoning due to one of their smoothies

Favorite playa bowls location! I’ll go out of my way to come to this location if I have the time because they pack the bowls and get the açaí base right every single time.

I really liked the service and the place, but what I loved most was my acai. He highly recommended it

I finally went to Playa bowls, I’ve been wanting to try for so long.
I got the pura Vida acai bowl, it was one of the best acai bowl I’ve ever tried.
Besides acai bowl, they have nutaya, banana bowl with many different flavors.
Go to when in NYC.

Really depends on time of day for service. Came at 8: 15pm before a train Register employee was super friendly. The employees who were to make the drink were more focused on doing other tasks than making the smoothie. They were nice enough but even at a later hour when not rush hour they should prioritize customers over other tasks.

The setting of this playa bowls is super nice and i love the surfing/ocean vibe to playa bowls but the guy that was wearing a yellow cap & black tee shirt working on 09/30 at 3: 00 pm, you are so rude and ignorant.all i wanted was 3 toppings and i wanted to create my own bowl since all of playa bowl’s bowls comes with so many toppings.if you have such a problem with my order then complain to your boss and playa bowl franchise as to why they even have a “create ur own bowl” option.if you’re gonna work a customer service job where you are constantly interacting with customers then you should really BE NICER, HAVE MORE MANNERS, learn to say YOU’RE WELCOME, HAVE A NICE DAY, TAKE CARE, etc.don’t give me a death stare after i said thank you.that’s literally so rude

Great juice as a substitute for an afternoon coffee. Though I wish the prices were more budget-friendly; otherwise I’d come everyday. Maybe a ‘value’ menu would be an option.

Since Penn Station started its reconstruction/face-lift, Playa Bowls is the first food spot to open up. Prices are OK, ingredients tasted fresh and very tasty. There are a lot of options here on the menu, I was happy to try something new and experiment a little outside the box. Was not disappointed with my Booster smoothie.

On a whim decided to stop in and get a bowl from this spot. I usually go to SoBol but let me tell you…I ordered the Nica bowl from this location and it was SO good. Way better than SoBol. I practically inhaled my bowl on the train home standing up lol. The employee who took my order and made my bowl was extremely nice too, so sad I didn’t catch his name but I’ll stop in again to leave a tip and get another bowl. 10/10 recommend if you’re hungry and want to go for a better food option in Penn. I’ll be returning.

I go to playa bowl often mostly to ones in nj…. However this location gave me very little toppings and substitute is a charge which is different I felt I was a bit cheated for what I received but it’s just a location thing I suppose
