Pleasant Ridge Pizzeria reviews
18Everything about this establishment is amazing, never a bad meal or experience had there. 10 out 10 highly recommend!
I have eaten here many times and have sampled alot of dishes. Really excellent, consistently good food. Housemade sausage. Great salads. Pizza, Italian specialties. Excellent homemade soups. They are so nice and welcoming there too. The owner almost always checks with us to see if we enjoyed our meals. Every town needs a great Italian place and I am very happy we have one closeby. Great family environment and the parties I've seen there seem really great in the private room.
We are usually with a large group and always get lots of delicious food, wine, and great service!
BEST ITALIAN FOOD IN NY hands down.
I’ve been coming here for over 5 years now and I’ve never had a bad experience.
Must try: Chicken parm dinner, lasagna, calamari, stuffed shells, linguine and clam sauce, chicken piccata, chicken scarpiello, baked ziti, garlic knots…
Their marinara sauce is to die for. You’ll never have a bad meal at this place.
Went in with my family and they were the nicest staff I have had in a long time! Who I believed to be the owner was working and make my 4 yr old daughter his friend by the end she was saying goodbye and he gave her and my son an ice cream to “win” her over! It won me as a customer! Great food and service!
Best pizza place around, everything on the menu is homemade, staff is friendly, feels like home.
Worst Caesar salad ever. Lettuce and grated parmigiana cheese. That’s it’s. Two things plus a small side dressing. Just sad. Didn’t have shaved parmigiana, okay. But no croutons? $11.89
Order placed through Slice, ready right on time. Pizza was ok, wings were a little soggy, they could have been cooked longer. Wing sauce was so-so. Staff was very friendly.
My dad called tonight asking if he could get 2 flavors of wings in a dozen. Your female employee said yes. My dad confirmed this wouldn’t be 2 separate orders. She said it would be one order and confirmed the price of $15. He came to pick up the wings; you charged him $19 instead of $15. When he mentioned he had called and confirmed, you told him that’s not how it works and were extremely rude to him. Another employee stepped in to say not to complain because “you’re working hard”. We’re all working hard these days. He didn’t even care about the price, it was how you treated him. Instead of honoring what was told to him on the phone minutes before, you were all rude. When my dad said he wouldn’t be back, you told him you didn’t care. This was his first time at your place, but not mine. We will no longer be ordering from your place. We frequent your establishment, but how you treat your customers is important, and you disappointed us.
Very dissapointed! My family has always ordered from here. Yesterday my son went with his friends and ocalled in a food order. My son ordered fried calamari for the first time from here which he said looked weird and didnt taste right. Since him and his friends ate in the car he had his friends taste it aswell which they agreed something was off. So he took it back inside and simply asked if he can replace it or get his money back. An older white haired man behind the counter told him no it looks fine. So my son asked him to taste it himself. The man tasted it and said it tasted fine, obviously he would say that. So my son threw it all away and left. I wonder if that man would have responded to an adult not liking their meal that way? We will no longer order from them because of this incident and the way that man handled it. This is all it takes to loose buisness from an entire family unit. If you are in a restaurant buisness you must handle a situation like this better than how you did. Not risk loosing customers. Now my son had put a piece in a tissue and brought it home to me just to make sure. And i have to agree there was definetly something wrong with the calamari. We love calamari and try it at different places. Me as a mother and customer is in shock that the older man wouldnt replace it. The entire order was thrown away. Its seafood for godsake, your restaurant truly wants to serve old seafood? Your restaurant wantd to risk food poisoning?
No longer will i order catering from you. All for $13 bucks and old seafood. I ld cater food yearly for my family gathers for the past 5 yrs. I truly feel my sonwas disrespected because hes a kid and this would not have happened if I went in to complain about my food.
Always kind and courteous, the food is always great. I've only done take out at this location but there is plenty of dining room space and I've seen parties held here.
Outstanding food and service I've been a customer for years and I will continue being one. Bravo
It's been many years since I was here. We ordered a pizza. It came out very hot with nice stringy cheese. Prior to the pizza they brought out a bowl of knots. They were ok. I did find the pizza to have a bit of a parmesan taste to it which I am not overly thrilled with but overall it was very nice and our waiter was pretty good.
The pizza was very good again, this was my second time there. I will definitely go back a third time but perhaps for the dinner menu. Friendly service, fair prices and a quaint country like atmosphere. These guys know good Italian food.
Food was amazing especially the penne volka. Unfortunately when we went out to our car it was dead and needed a jump. I have triple A but went to see if anyone could jump it since it was getting late and I had small children I didn't want to wait. The owner, his son, and another gentleman was nice enough to help push the car back and get it started for me. Great food and service all the way around.
The girl i was otp with was so rude and she told me she doesn’t deliver to poughquag when the establishment is literally in poughquag.my house is 4 minutes away and they said they don’t deliver to POUGHQUAG
Food is good but I can’t believe they don’t get refills on the soda after being a customer for seven years never thought they would charge for a cup oh sauna no free refillsI have never been to a restaurant or pizzeria where they don’t give you unlimited soda after your first one
Saturday night, just after 6pm we had a wonderful meal. We took advantage of their $59.95 dinner for two.
A full bottle of wine (choice of 10), shared appetizer (we had large mussels in fresh tomato sauce, huge portion, absolutely delicious).
Two entrees (we both had chicken parm, came with salad and pasta). Coffee and shared a huge delicious slice of apple pie.
All included in the price. Great portions great food and super friendly service.
Great meal. Highly recommend. Try the mussels, enough for two to share.
