PM Pediatric Urgent Care, Carle Place NY

I went to this location on Friday night with my child. Dr. Baldeo barely examined my child and gave him Benadryl. My child was sent home. Saturday morning I had to take him to his pediatrician because he was getting worse. It turns out that he has pneumonia. Please don't take your child to this location. They don't do their jobs well. It's extremely sad. FYI, everything is blamed on Covid!

I typically go to the Manhasset location which is excellent, but decided to go to Carl place as it was closest to me. From the moment I went in the receptionist was very rude and seem very agitated. The system was not allowing to sign in and when several parents addressed her her response was very unpleasant. My son had three patients behind him and two in front, she allowed several ppl that came last to go in before and when I addressed her in regards to it she was very rude and sarcastic, had the audacity to tell me that me addressing her was very inappropriate when in fact her character and response and miss treatment was inappropriate. I will not be visiting this location again and some one from upper management should look into the staff here as parents are already tired and frustrated with lack of sleep trying to figure out what is going on with there children we do not want to be addressed rudely by staff that is being PAID to assist us respectfully and kindly.

Terrible doctors, this place has misdiagnosed my children multiple times. I brought my son in for a really bad cough a couple of nights ago and the doctor said he was fine and just had a cold and did not prescribe any medication. However, a few days later we followed up with the primary care doctor because his cough was not going away and he was diagnosed with bronchitis and prescribed antibiotics. Be careful going here and definitely follow up with your primary doctor. Unfortunately, this is the only place in the area that is open late at night.

I dont mind waiting because I understand kids get sick but once you are in the room they just want to rush you out. They show no tolerance and patience for kids if they are scared of a test.

I have been coming to PM Pediatrics for 11 years (I now bring my children to the location in Carl Place before it opened we went to Syosset), they have great office hours, everyone is very nice, and works well with children BUT for as long as I've been coming here it takes two or more visits to get the right diagnosis. In every other profession except maybe a meteorologist you wouldn't have a job if you were wrong 50% of the time. The worse part is seeing your child feel lousy and having several failed attempts at trying to get them healthy again.

The lady behind the counter on Oct 6th 2022 was rude told me a 1 hour wait and lied then had me wait for over 3 hours to find out it was going to be another 2 hours we walked out calling corporate tomorrow

Worst place in the world, granddaughter had a rash brought her in cause her breathing was told wait they get someone waited 15 mins, someone comes out said can’t check her until u check in, money before health at this place. Will be calling corporate tomorrow. 0 stars but they won’t let u so u have to press 1.

We are never going back. I've been taking my kids here for years and it's always hit or miss but last night was the last straw.

In the past they diagnosed my daughter with Coxsackie when she had no spots. It very obviously wasn't Coxsackie and our regular pediatrician was scratching her head why that was even a thought.

Last night we had an appointment and spent 2 full hours there, mostly waiting. The doctor didn't listen and kept talking about my daughter's shunt. When a kid is sick with fever and congestion and gi issues for 5 days, it is highly unlikely to be a vp shunt issue. We've also been through 3 revisions and I know what a malfunction looks like. Plus two other people in the home are sick. The mansplaining sure continued over and over and he said she had a low grade fever. Um no, that day it was 100.4 but it had been as high as 101.9 and an hour after we got home it shot up to 102.3. Then he said someone would come in to do a covid test. After 15 minutes of waiting I went out to ask what was going on and they were all just sitting there. The nurse told him he discharged her and didn't submit the covid test.

The fact that he said he's an ER doctor makes me want to know where so I never take my kids there either. I was given no discharge paperwork and doubt they even sent the covid test out. There have been other issues as well but we are done with this place. Complete waste of time and energy.

Got hung up on when I pointed out that if a parent has a kid in pain, they call to get seen, telling that parent ahead of time you can't get an x-ray would be helpful. Always give more information

I have had many good experiences here however this last visit had me appalled. I will never be coming back. Dr. Perry Fishkind was the worst doctor I have ever encountered. He accused me of wanting to kill people when I asked for a lateral flow rapid test instead of a PCR for an upcoming flight. The airline and country both require a lateral flow, not a PCR. I know this review sounds crazy, but Dr. Perry Fishkind was an absolute nightmare and I will never be coming back.

Scheduled an appointment to get an x-ray because the website stated that they have x-ray technician available and while we were on the way we got a call that there is no x-ray technician available.what a waste of time and gas.

Dont even bother to make an appointment! Had an appointment scheduled for 3: 00 and was told to sign in and wait in my car. No problem. I was called in at 3: 45, asked for some information and told to sit in the waiting area. Sat in the waiting area for another 1.5 hours when I could have sat in the car. Walks in were allowed to sign in and go before me and others who had an appointment. They should just allow walks in if thats the case. A complete waste of my time and my children who had to sit for all that time. Communication from the front was lacking. Very sad situation.

Lackluster PM Pediatrics. I’ve Been to Other Locations and Had a Smooth Experience. All I Came for Was A Covid Test, and Waited Over An Hour to Not Even See a Doctor. The Receptionist/CNA/RN Was Completely Unhelpful and Could Only Offer That There Was An Influx of Patients and High Volume of Emergencies. Ridiculous.

The worst place to go bad attention they make you wait up to 3 hours and they don't take care of you the worst they only charge the insurance and they don't help they put the security to talk to the people they just need to put the cleaning staff to answer the calls
