15This review is for the loan officer specifically Jeffrey Feldman. The reps at the bank are fine. Was shopping for mortgage loans and contacted this branch. After this experience, I am no longer interested in working with them. Pnc should have more than one branch and officer in the Nyc area. Additionally, they should hire loan officers who are used to working with people outside of wealthy white communities like mr. Feldman. After being told that he makes his own hours and does not work in the branch, I ended up emailing him and scheduled a call. He spent all of five minutes being condescending and rude. He made several assumptions about my husbands and income* and credit that weren’t true. He further stated he didn’t know much about fha (a lie or he’s incompetent) and was spouting wrong figures on interest rates, minimum down payments and closing costs. He basically said we didn’t have money, when we have 4 % dp for our price range. He lied and said he’d email us more information to hurry us off the phone, after I corrected the misinformation he spouted. I do not want him to follow up as Pnc doesn’t need my kind of business.
What branch doesn’t do cash withdrawals? Had to go all the way to midtown since the amount I needed was over the ATM limit.
Staff at this location use all kinds of excuses to avoid offering help. I went to another PNC location and they finished job in 5 minutes.
Worst PNC bank I've ever been to. I ask for help and all I received was false hope and attitude. Never going back there again.
From the door I felt 100% welcomed. Matthew was a great help! He Educated me and my brother on everything there is to know about banking with PNC. I’m happy I choose this bank
This is a waste of time, no tellers on saturdays in two of the nyc locations, but yet online shows like is open for business makes no sense and a waste of time if you are going for teller purposes.
Wendy was a profiling horrible teller who took 15 min to give me MY MONEY! And seemed like she was trying to find anyway not to give me my money. Smh
The bank location is excellent, but what is even more excellent, is its employees! They were the most helpful and cooperative and definitely deserve the raise:) Thank you so much!
I was attacked by the teller!
When I declined to verbally give my Social Security number front desk employee snapped! (Nameless for this review) went out of his way to come from behind a glass enclosed desk screaming obscenities and displayed the intent to physically harm me in the main lobby.
Unprovoked and on camera - Such action should have been grounds for termination and the VP Branch Manager did not terminate this employee!
Simply unbelievable.
This is my favorite pnc branch. I did my condo closing transaction and condo-related account prep through them. Manhattan level of service - efficient, get to the point, and get the job done.
They don't even have tellers at this location. It's the only one in New York open on Saturday and they don't even have tellers. Why even bother having a bank branch if don't have tellers? It's a glorified collection of atms
As annoying as it is to only have two branch locations in Manhattan, I still like stopping by when needed. The staff are very accommodating and friendly, and have always helped me out when I needed (particularly last time when I needed a check printed out since their online system doesn't allow for a Memo, they dropped the fee for me). Despite how much more convenient other banks are in the city, I'm definitely going to stay with PNC.
They do banking right.it accommodates the the banker.and I don't have an account there.there should be more of them especially in the hoods.
