Poco - NYC reviews
23This was one of the worst dining experiences I have had. The “COVID bubble” in which we were seated was torn in multiple places, rendering it entirely pointless. The single, small heater placed at one side of a six-person table broke down twice. Unlike other reviewers who claim to have been given blankets and free drinks, we were given nothing. We came to the restaurant at 11am, when it opens, yet somehow they were out of every single hot drink option. We were brought the wrong food. Later, we were rudely told that we had to leave to make room for incoming reservations. To top it all off, the restaurant somehow was only accepting cash payment. The entire thing was farcical. For a restaurant that is fortunate enough to remain so busy under the current circumstances, it is bewildering to see how little respect they have for their customers.
Dinner is a mess, don’t go. 6 pm and it’s like a college bar in there. No service. I Recommend the Argentinian steakhouse around the corner -it SAVED our night.
We went here for brunch, the French toast I WILL NEVER FORGET!
Good avocado toast. Weak bottomless mimosas, but we can overlook that one (we all just out of quarantine with low tolerance so maybe they were looking out us haha)
Would recommend trying this place out!
Love the energy of this place! Would honestly recommend their dinner menu way more than their brunch menu. The croquetas and truffle Mac n cheese are so good. The atmosphere of the restaurant is one big party! Staff is great but won’t take your sh*t if you’re rude to them, which is the most NYC things about them.
Came here for brunch with my friend and it was very nice they do have indoor and outdoor dining we chose outdoors and it was cold one of the heaters ran out of propane so they gave us a blanket and a free shot to get us warm we had the bottomless mimosas we got drunk they even sent us off with to go cups, the mac n cheese was yummy the french toast was life and my friend said the lobster sliders weren't bad.
Accommodating for walk-ins and an extremely friendly bartender. Food was great though the only complaint was that the Eggs Benedict was a smaller portion than expected.
Loved the boozy brunch at this place. We ordered the lobster Mac and Cheese, which was extremely yummy!
Great brunch spot. You need to be ready to sit with strangers but everyone seems to be nice advising each other what to get. This is a cash only establishment so if you only have plastic on you don't worry there is an ATM right outside.
Great experience. Angel is an awesome waitresses. Food was on point. Drinks were divine. Not my first-time, won't be my last!
Cash only! Must make a reservation but Excellent brunch place. Great music. Really hip young crowd and staff. Excellent food. I live about 3 hours away with no traffic and have definitely found a new chill stop for every free weekend.
Celebrated my cousin bday here. This place was way to small for a big group. It needs more space
Legitimately the worst brunch spot I have ever gone to. The food was horrible, drinks were horrible. EXTREMELY overpriced and the staff was super-pushy almost rude. Little hole in the wall that is so overrated. I wouldn’t go back if you paid me.
Perfect bottomless brunch place! You will never have a empty drink. Lobster Mac is to die for! Will definitely be coming back again!
Awesome food, awesome drinks, awesome people. Whether it's brunch, happy hour, late night or a private party, Poco always over delivers with great customer service and food. Be sure to check out their breakfast taco catering!
Solid bottomless brunch considering your pitcher will consistently be refilled. BUT, expect it to be very busy and very loud. This meal was good just not the star of the show.
Great time. Food was amazing and Cody was amazing. My first time there and will be returning. Thank you
Been here twice already for brunch love the food, especially the lobster mac and cheese. Not too excited and the drinks though.
Totally lost on what all the hype is about regarding brunch. Extremely cramped, the food is good but over priced, the drinks are just juice, which was terrible, and they literally ask you to leave after an hour and a half. No vibe here. The lobster Mac and cheese is good but needs seasoning. Portions are very small; I was hungry when I got home. This brunch is subpar at best. Won't be returning.
It was a great brunch spot. The brunch deal is good as well. We got seated quickly. But the waiter forgot to get us our full order and kind of forgot about us when we were done with everything.
Great spot for Brunch. Famous Lobster Mac & Cheese was delish, steak & eggs were tasty. Mimosa's were nice too. The space is small & limited. Reservations is highly recommended.
