Pokemoto - Tarrytown

I love in an area that has a few sushi burrito restaurants, but this place has ruined it for me! Their sushi burrito was AMAZING! And the staff there were the nicest people I met while visiting New York, which is saying a lot haha. If you like Poke Bowls, Sushi Burritos and find yourself in Tarrytown, I highly recommend visiting this lovely restaurant and the amazingly kind staff!

Though the food was amazing the service by Matt and Gladys was even better. They made you feel welcome and were very friendly. They are the best. Definitely coming back!

What you expect in a poke place. Wish they actually had Hawaiian poke, but I dream big, you know. It is always different this far away from the source. They had a decent looking selection. With vegetarian and non-fish eating options. Loads of veggies to pick from. Staff was nice. The place was not a place I would consider sitting and eating. Shame because the space is quite big.

Unfortunately I got food poisoning from here. Sad because it tasted good and I've gotten it a few times before. All I ate that day was Poke so it had to have been that.

I got poke salad and it was great! Fresh and delicious I got most of ingredients except for cilantro and it was so tasty and I really loved spicy mayo sauce! I recommend poke salad!

I love this place. I've been there many times. The owner and the people that work there. All very friendly and super nice. I find that the quality of food is very good and that the food is fresh. I believe that the tuna and the salmon are from a frozen product. It's great variety of different toppings and stuff that you can create your own bowls. I found that they large bowl is really large and I have a fairly large appetite. So I stick with a small unless I want to take another meal home with me. Two things that I would like to see change would be a better selection of beverages. Everything seems to be sort of on the very sweet side. The other is that they don't recycle and they use throw away paper. French fry bowls to mix each person's water and then they throw them out. It seems very wasteful and not cost effective. If they use some stainless steel bowls s had enough of them That would be more echo friendly and less expensive for them. I look forward to the next time going there. I generally love Poke but this was not great. They were out of lettuce, the up charges the avocado which was clearly not fresh and out of a package, the salmon was really low quality. I would not choose to go back.

I was really hoping this was going to be a good experience, but no such luck. I recently had an accident, and I am on crutches with a boot. I have been stuck at home, really wanted to go out, and I was excited to get some Poke. I entered with my wife, and there was only one person ahead of us, ordering one item. We waited. Two ladies were working the counter. One was assisting the person in front of us, and the other person was doing inventory, I think. So we waited. On crutches. We started to time it. Noone looked at us, said hello, or said, we will be right with you. After TEN minutes of noone acknowledging us, we walked out. How do staff not even bother to make eye contact? Highly disappointed, and thoroughly confused. We walked out, and again, noone looked up, noone cared. Oh, and they definitely knew we were there.ever try and be quiet walking on crutches while wearing a boot? Definitely not quiet. We will not return, and we will share our encounter with others. Go elsewhere.

It’s a good spot to eat healthy, i really like that it was spotless clean and smelled good inside. The employees were super friendly the only reason i’m not giving 5 stars is because i didn’t think the food was phenomenally good but overall it was definitely good

Thrilled to have a local Poke restaurant added to the Rivertown restaurant scene. Pokemoto is fantastic: fresh, plentiful and delicious! I've ordered via GrubHub multiple times and have been very happy every time. The portions are substantial. The fish is fresh! Everything is really, really good! I love, love Pokemoto and highly recommend for anyone who loves Poke or for first timers who want to give it a try. A great addition to the Tarrytown restaurant scene and the overall Rivertown culinary experience. Try it-you will not be disappointed!

Mango milk tea, with mango popping bubbles I die for. Nice & clean, super helpful service.

Never had a Poke bowl before, but I'll definitely be back.

The staff member that helped me was friendly, the Hawaiian bowl was awesome. I'm really glad this place opened!

The large bowls are enormous in addition to being delicious. Great portion size to the point where even a pig like me says "I don't think I can finish this! "

Really yummy and fresh! I never had poke until this restaurant opened and now I’m addicted! The servers are friendly too.

The ahi tuna is fresh and delicious and love the recommendations the gentleman behind the counter suggests for the different sauces they have. Really happy to have this location now in Tarrytown and great customer service!

Delicious! Good food, great service. I wish there were more places like this in the area. For those who don't know poké, it's like sushi in a bowl, except I feel like you get more for your money. You can mix and match and customize your dish or go with one of their specialties. There is a wide selection of toppings and sauces. Plus, they have bubble tea to go with it.

Gladys and her restaurant are a welcome addition to Tarrytown. The bowl was absolutely delicious. You need to try this place!
