Poplar Hill Estate, East Aurora NY

Poplar Hill was the very first venue we looked at, and we knew right away it was where we wanted to get married. We were so certain we didn't even waste time looking anywhere else!

One of our first meetings Phil, the owner happened to be having a family party next door, he came over to introduce himself and brought us a plate of food and drinks. It really was such a sweet gesture and let us know that we made the right choice.

The barn and location are beautiful, the staff was so friendly, easy to work with and helpful. Despite not having a formal wedding coordinator, you wouldn't have guessed with Shelby and Penny's helpfulness and attention to detail.

Though there was some rain on the day of the wedding, they were able to seamlessly pivot and move the ceremony into the barn. The day was perfect, and will be a memory not soon forgotten.

I recently got married to the love of my life on 9/8/23 at Poplar Hill! From the beginning I knew this is where I wanted to get married. Maddie was the person we originally communicated with but finished with Shelby. Shelby jumped right in, knew what we were looking for and communicated very well. Everyone was super responsive to our questions and even reached out multiple times to see how we were doing with our planning. Phil, the owner, was extremely accommodating & helpful through the planning as well. Being able to build your dream wedding at such a beautiful venue is really amazing. The tables and chairs that are included gave a beautiful, rustic but elegant feel. When everything is all lit up at night it's truly breathtaking.everything at this venue is beautiful. The landscaping, lighting, flowers, just everything! There are so many spots on property to take beautiful photos. My husband enjoyed the man cave in the basement of the barn the morning of the wedding. Being able to have access to the grounds from morning until the end of the wedding was a huge plus! A lot of venues only allow you to be on site 2-3 hours before your ceremony. Also, most barns do not have actual restrooms inside but Poplar Hill has 3 for guests & 1 in the man cave for the guys. There are so many positive things I can say but if you're looking to build your wedding how YOU want it, this is the venue for you.

It has already been over a month since my husband and I found Poplar Hill Estate. Our daughter and her fiancé decided they didn't want to wait a year to get married, so on Friday July 7th they told us they were going to go ahead and tie the knot. We knew our daughter had a vision of what she wanted her wedding to be and we didn't want her to give up on that dream. Getting married at the courthouse in downtown Buffalo was not the plan. Our daughter-in-law sent us the link to Poplar Hill Estate on Friday evening, July 7th, and we decided to drive by to see if it was a fit for our daughter's wedding. As it turned out, the following Saturday, July 15th, was available! To stumble across a venue that had availability on a weekend in July was unheard of, and at that point, we knew it was meant to be! I won't bore you with too many details, but with the help and support of the unbelievably accommodating staff, we successfully planned a formal wedding in 7 days, and my daughter had the wedding of her dreams! (Yes, you read that correctly, we planned a beautiful, formal wedding from buying all the dresses to buying all the flowers in only 7 days!) Phil, Shelby, and the rest of the Poplar Hill staff treated us like family. They went above and beyond to include so many small touches and fine details that made everything over the top special. We couldn't have asked for a better partnership or a more picture-perfect wedding for our daughter! Thank you Poplar Hill Estate, your the best!

Poplar Hill Estate was an incredible venue. They really allowed me and my husband to create our own unique wedding vision. They were so accommodating for our wedding guests and family, and provided everything that we needed and then some. It is family owned which you can tell that they maintain the venue at a higher level of care that you wouldn't find at other places. It was such a great experience and we were completely stress free thanks to them! We would highly recommend having your wedding here!

Poplar Hill Estates as a wedding venue is just like you would see in a Hallmark Movie. It provides a signature brand of home with a touch of a sentimental journey of great things to come, surrounded by a magnificent view that will inspire all guests that they have arrived to something very special. Both Beth and Phil were completely accommodating to our needs and seemed as if they were part of our family. We reserved this location over a year in advance and agreed on a price which never changed. There were no hidden fees; or inflationary charges; or add on costs for table and chairs, etcetera. There is both a detached Carriage House ~ for the Bridal Party and under the Barn is an area for the Groom’s Party to use for wedding preparations. We were able to do the Ceremony and Celebration perfectly and will always reflect to this day as one of our happiest. Thank you, Beth and Phill from Nancy and John.

Huge barn with many of the vendors from East Aurora farmers market. Fire pit was burning so you could enjoy coffee and baked goods. Nice way to spend a winter's morning.

Stopped by for the Poplar Hill - winter farmers market. It was interesting with a variety of vendors. Parking was tough, but with people leaving at regular intervals, it worked out fine. The car line kept moving. The driveway is a little small for two-way traffic, but people worked it out. It was a little muddy, though. They had Alpacas and an outdoor fire ring. The main venue got a little crowded. All and all for the first go around. I think it was OK. It was a good change of pace for a cold mid-day Saturday.

The team scheduled in-person & virtual meetings leading up to our wedding day to ensure my vision came to life. They're so flexible & accommodating! I could go on and on!

The venue itself is so stunning. The grounds were pretty! The fact that EVERYTHING was included, tables, chairs, arbors, corn hole boards.its just made everything so stress free & BEAUTIFUL.

We had so many beautiful memories on these grounds. I will be forever thankful for my experience at Poplar Hill.
