Port Royal, South Jamaica NY

Port Royal catered a last minute dinner I wanted to host for 30 of my staff. I worked with the gentleman known as Ras to make sure the menu would delight the pallets of my Caribbean, American and even vegan staff. The food was delicious! My team loved the sorrel and lemonade as well. Huge shout out to the chef for the brown stew tofu! Customer for life.

Always love you food but I have the worst breakfast I have ever had green banana and dumpling under cooked the ackee and salt fish on flavor plus the server was rude

The food was delicious. They had a lot of different varieties to choose from. The portions were big as well. From the small foil plate I had two servings.

There were two sides, the bakery that had delicious desserts/pastries, etc and the restaurant side. Would definitely purchase food from them again, the next time I'm in NY on that side of town.

The Salmon was delicious.

The lady that was the cashier was disgusting did not even greet me but when I was asking the young lady who was sharing my food for more ackee as I was give a portion of 3 tablespoon NO LIE the woman replied um she has to buy another meal for more ackee. I was shocked as I stated I would pay more.they need to do better with the service I left the food right there. And went to the Door where I was originally.going to go

Ordered a small portion of jerk chicken only just to see if it was good. The meat was burnt all the way up. Was asked if I wanted jerk sauce I said yes but I guess that was to cover up all the black parts.

I eat here a lot since I work right next to it. I have to say their service is always fantastic and they keep the place well organized regularly. Prices are affordable and they serve generous portions.

I heard the food was excellent so we decided to take a drive from long Island. The customer service wasn't that very nice the lasy was rude when asked a question. The food was ok the meat was tuff to chew (oxtail). There were people outside the establishment not worrying a mask. And a panhandler coming knocking on ur window!

Prices are high for pieces of chicken! Need to lower your chicken pieces price! The desserts were good.

Food was excellent. Prices reasonable, warm friendly atmosphere. Will definaltely revisit Port Royal.

I always eat from here the people are friendly, they have great customer service and the food is delicious.

Great food, excellent pastries and cakes for all occasions.just name the cake and they bake it.perfectly clean environment. Great customer service and reliable delivery.

They're okay but the definitely do over charge. Bc something on the menu would say 8 dollars and you get to the register and it's 12 then they claim it's taxes smh. The girl that's at the register is rude until you drop your change into the tip cup. Personally, I try and minimize the amount of times I go here. They really need to work on staffing, quality control, and make sure the staff actually know the prices.

Food was good now their falling off food is thrown together different cook maybe poor customer service made a complaint she laughed I'll drive to bklyn next time I want Jamaican food

It’s really great it’s just that if you leave your kid there to order food they wouldn’t even look at them until much more time later
But beside that it’s a great place

The guy who served me was very patient and attentive with my order and the food was delicious. I ordered the oxtails & rice and peas. The oxtails were juicy and tender as it should be. The next time I'm in the neighborhood I will definitely grab a nice plate.

Food was good but just like with all Jamaican restaurants service could be better patty and coco bread 15 mins. Then soda next door C'mon

Stopped here from JFK after a redeye from the Left Coast. Friendly staff and buffet style food (so you can see everything). The lovely woman at the counter let my daughter and I try the ackee before we piled it, sweet potatoes, greens, butter beans and plantains on a plate. Got a side of rice too. Everything was fresh tasting and perfectly seasoned. My bro got an order of cod, also delicious. Only 2 booths for seating and most people do take out here. Would definitely come back.

The bakery is horrible. I spent what i think is a lot for a cake. My son wanted plain vanilla cake. No filling. Just cake and icing. That's what I asked and paid for. They gave me a vanilla cake with strawberry filling. My son is allergic to strawberry. Total waste of money and my sons 6th birthday was ruined all because they don't want to make a simple vanilla cake

This is one of the most exotic restaurant I've been to and the food beyond excellent. Awesome food, clean restaurant. Love it.

The food have lil taste, and I asked for dumplings in my soup when it was delivered I got everything except dumplings, price is ok and the staff was very polite on the phone
