Practice Human Physical Therapy reviews
9 I’ve worked with Caitlin for several months and it’s transformed my everyday life. She carefully prepares me for anything new, makes sure my form is right to avoid injury, and checks on my reaction afterward.
Training with Caitlin isn’t an activity separate from the rest of my life. I’m constantly aware that it affects every action I take during the week, whether hoisting my [relatively] heavy bags up onto the train’s luggage rack, pulling out cast iron pots in the kitchen, transplanting large shrubs or smallish trees in the garden, and so much more. Lift a 50-pound bag of sand? Not a problem.
Walking in the city is a joy – I can pace myself to hit the green lights instead of relying on jaywalking. I love having the confidence that I can take care of myself and want others to know they can, too. I’m 76, small-boned, female, and was headed to osteoporosis. Because of Caitlin’s strength training, I’m only going to be getting better, not worse, in the future.
Working with Caitlin has truly inspired me with hope that I thought wasn’t possible before. She’s a legit professional that knows the human body and can clearly yet enthusiastically communicate to me what my issues are and how to approach them. Highly recommend.
Caitlin is a true healer and I feel so lucky to have worked with her over the course of several months. Her empathic, patient bedside manner really makes Physical Therapy a place for repair, growth and expansion not only Physically but Emotionally.
Thank you for an amazing online course, (Re) learn How to Jump! This course, offered by Practice Human Physical Therapy & Durability for Life, is an outstanding framework for anyone looking to build strength, skills, and know-how for this type of impact movement. (The first few weeks don't include impact, but demonstrates the pathway to get there!). Caitlin of Practice Human Physical Therapy & Durability for Life not only offers a wealth of movement-based knowledge, she is an excellent teacher and communicator, giving students the best next steps (or hops! -sorry, had to) to see progress. I highly recommend this course and am looking forward to seeing what is offered next by Caitlin! Thanks again! - Michelle, Redmond, WA
Have been working with Caitlin since September 2021. She has been instrumental in helping me get back to prime physical condition for the first time in years. She provides expert hands on adjustments and exercises to alleviate pain and strengthen muscles. Just hurt my lower back again playing volleyball and immediately am scheduling an appointment with her to help get back on track. Can't recommend Practice Human enough.
I've been seeing Caitlin for several months treating somewhat of a cascade of injury / muscular irritation, and have finally rounded the corner and feel that Caitlin's expertise has made a big difference in my recovery. Caitlin is knowledgeable, and really listened to and responded thoughtfully to my descriptions of the pain I'd been feeling, and tailored a great series of exercises to get me back on my feet. I'd highly recommend Caitlin and Practice Human for anyone with pain or injury that you need to recover from and to regain your mobility def five stars.
I have the good fortune of having known Caitlin for several years, as both strength trainer and physical therapist. I feel very grateful to have her as a reliable resource, especially as my body is aging, and needs more attention than it used to. She is consistently smart, empathic, skilled, and empowering in all of our work together. She is a clear communicator, an open listener, and is warm, funny and kind. I trust her 100% to make thorough and accurate assessments, and to provide me with exercises that not only provide quick relief for my aches and pains, but also help me feel more embodied, centered, and powerful. I cannot recommend Caitlin highly enough, she is truly a rare gem!
For my 31st birthday I got a pinched nerve in my back and under the supervision of Caitlin, I went from being unable to stand on one leg to running after a few months. I'm lucky my pinched nerve wasn't as severe as it could have been, but either way the attention to detail from the team was everything I could have wanted while I was battling a scary back injury and working to get back to 100%.
I went to Caitlin for help rehabbing my quad after I strained it sprinting. She did a great job helping me understand the degree of my injury and giving me exercises to help regain strength and mobility so I could return to my normal athletic activities. Super capable, helpful, and responsive team, I highly recommend!
