Simon is amazing! My dress was classic on bottom with a mesh material on top with embroidered flowers overlaid. I was so nervous to get it altered, the fabric seemed so complex to me. It was a walk in the park for Simon. He made me feel super comfortable, and was very upfront about his pricing. At any time he's working on probably a dozen wedding gowns - no matter what your fabric or fit, you should feel comfortable bringing it to him.

Highly recommend Prestige Tailoring! Simon was great to work with as a first time Bride. He walked me through the entire process of alterations for my dress as it coincided w/ our wedding timeline. Ensuring I would be comfortable the day-off was his goal. Simon knows best and his service and expertise are top-notch!

So, I don't know that I can say enough good things about Simon and this business. The prices are great, the timing was very quick, and the work was amazing.
I got a suit for my wedding and not being a big suit guy I got something more affordable, a custom suit from Jos A Bank. Simon cleaned up the tailoring and it now fits like a $2k suit. I also wanted to do a custom liner and Simon knocked it out of the park. It couldn't have been a true buffalo wedding without him.

Simon did an excellent job altering my wedding dress! He was very knowledgeable and knew what questions to ask to make my vision reality. He was also very patient. At my last fitting I realized I needed to change the bustle length and he was very accommodating to make the last minute change for me.

Very rude man. Also did not give us the full suit back. Missing vest upon pick up. Also way over priced. Will not return or recommend. Very upset.

Did amazing work on friends daighters prom dress in a 2 day notice would recommend to anyone

I came to Prestige Tailoring with my best friend's veil a week before the wedding. It was her mother's vintage veil, and it had a rip and needed new edging. Simon and his team did an amazing job repairing it! It looks beautiful, and he got it done in two days! The service, time, and actual mending repairs were amazing. 15/10 experience and will definitely use Prestige Tailoring in the future.

I chose Prestige Tailoring to tailor my wedding dress. I had three fittings over the summer/early September leading up to my wedding in October 2022. I went alone to the majority of my fittings (no bridesmaids) and was very nervous. Simon did a great job of making me feel comfortable. He asked questions about what I liked/didn't like about my dress and was very knowledgeable when describing the different kinds of bustles. I chose a French bustle, which I've heard is less common, but I wanted to keep the embellishments on the back of my dress visible. Before my last fitting, Simon told me to bring a responsible friend who would be helping me that day (no MOH) and took his time explaining to her how to do it and practiced with us multiple times. Everything came out great and I loved how I felt/looked in my dress!

Simon is by far the best tailor in the Buffalo area. I have been seeing him for over 20 years and his workmanship is impeccable. He has opinions and a deep knowledge about what looks good and what works. I appreciate that trait and I value his expertise as a tailor. He has always been unfailingly friendly and kind whenever I have visited. Recently, the work that he did on my college-age son's suit was incredible. After Simon's tailoring, it looked like the suit was made to measure.

Such a great place to go for alterations. Mr. Shmatnik is so kind and patient. He is thorough and professional and does absolutely beautiful work. I've taken a couple pairs pants that I love to him to alter and they are perfect, the perfect length when I get them back. I had him attach a hood and ties to my favorite rain coat and I am so pleased with the result! Excellent customer service! I don't go anywhere else.

I took my wedding dress to Simon at Prestige Tailoring at the recommendation of a bridal shop. My dress needed multiple adjustments. Even though I was on a tight schedule, Simon accommodated me. He took his time to examine the dress and pointed out all the ways it could be improved to my fitting. He created a beautiful French bustle on my dress. His tailoring is really refined and professional. It was really nice working with him and I am very happy with how my dress turned out!
