Pret A Manger reviews
8 The service as well as the selection of food was pretty great for a Sunday morning. We grab some food for a train ride back home. The staff was super friendly (they re-wrapped our sandwich for us so we could eat it later,) and my coffee was also a four star coffee. Inside it was not crowded and we did have to get the key code for the bathroom which is locked.
The quality of the food was four stars. Exceptional, we wish the kicking chicken wrap had more of a kick to it!
The chips were great. Probably 4 1/4 star overall.
I like this place, they have a few localizations in the city. This one is a 3-minute walk from the grand central. It's clean, nice service. For coffee. It's better to go there in the morning, there are crowds around the lunch time.coffee is good, delicate taste and aroma. Cups they are big! - I recommend it. For lunch I had falafel wrap and tomato soup with feta.wrap.is sta dard - as usual, but the soup was a great purchase! I highly recommend it. Pastry looked nice, but I didn't try them. The products are of course organic, really. It's worth stopping by for a quick coffee and a snack
I walked in today @ 12: 15 this location - hardly any food out - couldn’t eat - very dissatisfied - manager advised she is short help. You are losing business at this location! Even if it’s a Sunday - the store should have plenty to eat - everything was cleaned out! Also I happen to love Pret - I’m just disappointed with this location lately! I had to go to 43rd & Lexington which had what I like!
Counter staff actually yawned while taking order. Then the bored slowly loafing staff kept walking down to the basement (?) While someone sounded liked they were throwing up down there. Other diners where I'm sitting also disgusted. Foods good though!
Don’t ever go in the morning! They seriously need more help… they take 2 mins to make a coffee I’m beside myself
Chicken salad made me sick. I literally threw up. Maybe it had been sitting around for a while.
We stopped at Pret A Manger late in the afternoon on a Saturday afternoon just for a quick coffee and realized they were almost closing. They were sweeping up and did a last call while we were there. It is evident the youngsters who work there are doing a good job, especially Jay, who stood out above and beyond your routine barista. He exuded such positivity and professionalism that I need to do a shout to his boss - please give this young man a compliment! He is a gem in your store! (And no, I have not met him before he made me a great latte!)
As you can see from the photos, the food must be pretty darn good because they are nearly sold out by the end of the day.
