Price Chopper, Cicero NY

Having experienced extreme frustration and disappointment with another grocery store in the area, I ventured into this Price Chopper. My problem since arriving in NY a month ago, has been finding good quality meats that are also packaged or offered in a manner that makes sense. I elected to engage in conversation with a butcher at this store by the name of Chris and I must say, I was quite pleasantly surprised. Very friendly and outgoing, knowledgeable, helpful, and generous. He persuaded me to call him after a couple of days when a weekly delivery was to occur. I did so and decided to visit the store once again. When I arrived at his meat case he acknowledged my presence and immediately helped me select two steaks from his case. He then offered to let me try some seasoning that he enjoys when cooking at home. I brought the steaks home and prepared them for the Weber charcoal grill as I always do, except that I used his seasoning. I brought the steaks to 130 degrees F.internally, then pulled them from the grill to rest. These are by far the best steaks I have enjoyed in NY to date. These were high quality streaks at a very reasonable price. My entire family loved the flavor and completely enjoyed the experience. Chris quite obviously knows what he is talking about when it comes to meat and his willingness to help is worth the drive past any number of other grocery stores. He is a tremendous asset to this particular Price Chopper store and would likely prove to be a valuable asset to Price Chopper on a regional level.

My number one place to grocery shop! Everything is easy to find and clearly labeled. I am always shopping with three small children and everyone is very patient and wonderful and making sure I'm in and out on my trips to the store

Fresh fruit and vegetables great bakery dept. Love butcher block for specialty cuts of meat and seafood counter. Reasonable prices excellent customer service.

I just received the worst customer service by 2 employee's. Complaining about the size of my purchase while checking me out. The second employee proceeded to talk down to me for removing a 50 cent coupon. Neither of these women should be in this line of work. And I will gladly be giving Wegmans all of my business from now on.

Used to like shopping.not so much anymore. Masks, one way aisles (that some people dont pay attention to), long lines with less cashiers makes it more of a chore

Decent prices, but you must have an advantage card in order to leverage the deals. Produce is hit or miss.

Cashier's are slow at the check outs, they don't offer bags. I went in to buy a couple things at the self check-out your cashier Brittany was nasty and no help checking out. Still waiting line not moving. By the time I got to a register another 45 minutes of waiting a little Iold lady decides to budge in line and now I have to wait longer. I had 5 items this old lady had a cart full. She took for ever. Next time I will Go somewheres else. This was a horrible shopping experience. Don't go to cicero price chopper unless you can wait hours to be cashed out.

Great place to shop. Everyone there is so helpful and kind. I can ask anyone anything and if they can answer it they direct me to the right person in a timely manner. All the cashiers are kind and helpful and always have a smile to greet me. I can't say enough about how much I love being a chopper shopper.:)

Store gets worse each visit! 5 registers open on a friday aftetnoon.peak after school and dinner shopping time.shelves not stocked.coupon sale offers out alrwady.wegmans1 mile away.will start shopping there.

I've shopped at Price Chopper for more than 30 years. I cannot think of anything I dislike, or would have ever been unhappy about. Love the sale prices, regular prices too. Great produce & selection. Meat cannot say enough good things about it. This is my favorite go-to place for groceries. I cannot say enough good things. Great friendly sales help. Love! The self check outs

I love Price Chopper. I always shopped at a competitor. Then my parents asked me to go there and pick up a few things. Wow, the sales and deals that they have are incredible. I've shopped there for five years plus.

Price chopper sucks, only go there to get what's on sale, there lines r longer than Walmart s! Wegmans is the best for all around price and freshness

Love this location but as the review below states.bathrooms need extra TLC and management should consider installing paper towel dispensers.

Chelsea was rude to my grandmother and unaccommodating. She was very short with her, and the place is dirty. Terrible customer service

The workers are always working hard and willing to help. Very clean and mange to keep all the shelves stocked. Great prices.

Always get what I need, staff is helpful, I use the app which always saves me extra money I don't expect, and people are always leaving coupons in the isles, plus people must enjoy working here

Men's and lady's bathrooms were disgusting. There should be paper towels for people to open the door with. Hand dryers are useless.
Other than that, our shopping experience was fine. We found everything we needed and discounts were fair and appreciated. Cashier was pleasant and quick.
