Primavera Cafe & Restaurant, Monsey NY

I am taking the time right now while in seminary in Israel to write this review because, as i sit here i think back to a time when i was privileged enough to be sitting in the beautiful ambiance of primavera. The food there is beyond the words provided to us by the English vocabulary and i mean this seriously. All i can think about is their delectable caprese bruschetta and savory salmon salad. The milkshakes taste heavenly;) The staff treat their customers with patience and respect. I long to be there again sometime soon. Everyone here knows that my first stop off the plane when i arrive back in america will be to primavera's warm embrace. I hope the owners know just how much i love that place. I would like to add that my seminary is fortunate enough to be graced by the presence of one of the owner's family members and she is almost as amazing as the food:)

My favorite dairy to go or bring home. Delicious food, excellent service. Prices reasonable for cafe/restaurant. My favorite dishes that I always get: GF penne a la vodka with added vegetables, and Primavera quinoa salad. The portions are generous and easily shared by 2 people. Definitely recommend, you won't regret it.

We were promptly seated, great service, portions were the perfect size, food was delicious.
Only issue is that we were seated at the door which meant every time the door opened it got chilly

Fantastic experience! I ordered Primavera lunch for an office party and it was absolutely amazing! Food was out of this world! The food came very well prepared and warm. Generous amount of food as well. Highly recommend! Thank you!

This placed used to be wonderful, not sure what happened. The food lacked flavor, it was either overly salty or no taste as all. We asked for water 3x and never got any. The attached picture is $17 and change worth of salty Gnocci. There were 4 of us, but they served half the table and only brought out food for the other half 30 min later. It wasn't a busy night so not sure why. Then we waited about half hour for our bill to pay, but ended up just walking up to the front where 2 other customer also got tired of waiting. I can add a few more complaints but I think these were the main ones. I had heard that the quality went down but I didn't expect it to have gone down so much.

Not so satisfied… we ordered a shalshuka, wasn’t spiced so well, it sounds like it was done in a microwave, cuz one side was boiling while the other was cold, comes with a Baguette (oh sorry it comes with only half a baguette ‍️‍️‍️)
And then a scrambled egg sandwich, the bread was something interesting, but wasn’t so bad,
We ordered churros for desert - which is the reason we came in first place to this place-, after like 10 min they tell us, oh we’re sorry we ran out of churros,
Whatever judge for yourself….
Service was not to bad but I don’t see why the mandatory tip of %18 was necessary…

Excellent place! Great choice of food and beverages on the menu. Very courteous and helpful staff. Definitely recommended!

Order took TOO LONG, terrible management. CURBSIDE pickup does NOT EXIST overhere, unless you call and wait 20 minutes on HOLD just to REMIND them that they have a customer who’s WAITING for their food.

Very nice atmosphere the food is decent but could use more flavor and very many things are not fresh.from the freezer eg.fries. Also they are quite often out of many items on their menu which is quite annoying

Primavera offers a wonderful quiet lunch ambiance with a menu that is unique.

Without getting too exotic they offer a nice kosher dairy menu with options I have yet to see elsewhere.

Everything came out as expected (save for the coffee temperature).

I ordered the Macaroni, French Fries, and Chocolate Milkshake, all of which were wonderful. Only real complaint was there were quite a few of little flies which were annoying. Server didn't seem to know the menu completely, but She could have just been new, She was very polite though.

This is an overpriced, bad quality, run of the mill place. I ordered a salad, which for $20 came with obviously old lettuce, none of the other items described, and a few small pieces of salmon in a tiny bowl. And no, it's not me, as I was eating it, another person came over and asked for the menu again because they openly said they were still hungry.

My wife had a pizza which she said was good, but then she ordered a milkshake, she did not get a milkshake.see photo, and that liquidy thing was $9.

There was no real service and yet.the 18% service was tacked onto the bill.

Have not seen this poor quality of a restaurant, product, or service in a very long time.

This is truly a gem of a Kosher restaurant. The owner and all staff members take pride in providing outstanding service. They are very welcoming and friendly. The food is exquisite. We especially love the Moroccan salmon and the personal pizzas. The dining room, restrooms and laver room are immaculately clean. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Service was great. The waiters and staff were friendly and did an amazing job. Food was absolutely delicious and fast.

Service was unpleasant - the old bad attitude crowd. Coffee was expensive and poorly prepared. One expects better coffee faire in a place called a Café. No?

Food was not bad, but overpriced.

Mixed feelings.

I will not go back here. While the food is tasty and the bathroom clean, that's the end of the good news. The prices are outrageous for the type of restaurant this is. It has no noise reduction techniques such as curtains, and the sound/noise travels throughout: I could not help but hear the men sitting two tables away, and the man sitting one table behind us. However, because of the noise/sound from those, I could barely hear my wife sitting just opposite me. Further, her meal arrived a full five minutes before mine. I couldn't wait to leave the place to get away from the noise. I won't be back!
