We love Professional TKD and all the instructors and crew! My son has been training for sparring tournaments and he loves it!

We moved from NJ to NYC not too long ago, and we hit the jackpot with a fantastic taekwondo dojang for our 9-year-old 2nd-degree-black-belt son and 11-year-old 3rd-degree-black-belt daughter.

The masters here are top-notch, and they've taken our black belt kids to new heights. The structured lessons keep them on point and always improving. The masters here are not just skilled martial artists but also exceptional educators who have a genuine passion for teaching.

Moreover, we love the warm and welcoming atmosphere the masters greet us every time we step through the doors of the dojang.

Sure, it's a bit of a trek from where we live, but let me tell you, it's worth it! NYC might be big, but this dojang is a hidden gem for us.

We joined Professional TKD a few months ago and both our kids love it! All the Masters are super great at instructing and making classes fun for the students no matter what level belt. We visited many Dojangs in NYC and ultimately chose Professional. They also participate in regional tournaments such as the Governors Cup! Recommend 1000%

Professional martial arts Taekwondo offers amazing classes for kids of all ages. My kid loves it and I can tell it’s really good for him. All the instructors are awesome too (especially Maria)!

My son loves this Taekwondo school. Instructors and Master are strictly encourage discipline, good technique and sportsmanship. Facilities are very good and clean. This is a great place for kids to initiate their martial arts journey.

I highly recommend this Taekwondo Center. The masters and all instructors in this center are willing to teach the skills and the manners. My 9-year old daughter started to take the class here since the start of 2023. The instructors here are amazing. My daughter enjoys the class so much and also practiced by herself a lot after the class. She is very motivated and disciplined and also is so proud of the achievement made by her and all the other kids taking the classes together.

My 7 year old son has been at Professional TKD for the last 6 months and we have all loved the experience. Staff there are professional, courteous, respectful and know how to work with kids. They know when discipline is needed, how to teach the skills of TKD, celebrate personal accomplishments, and have fun like all kids desire. He was previously at another center closer to home for a year and while Professional TKD is further away, the experience is worth the extra time spent in travel. I feel like my kid is more satisfied with his accomplishments at Professional.

Professional taekwondo school is a truly an excellent and well run taekwondo school. I was interested in learning more information about joint a taekwondo dojo and not only do they have a wide variety of classes but they also have a wide variety of programs. Seems like a place that really focuses on personal development when it comes to martial arts. Instructor Maria was especially helpful throughout the process.

My son has been going to P-TKD for the past 5 years. It has been such a good influence for him as he grows and develops. Not only is it great exercise and has given him confidence, but it has taught him discipline, respect, hard work and restraint. All of the instructors are warm and kind. Grand Master Kim is the best! My son looks up to him so much. They are all great role models and I’m so grateful that we have had this positive influence during such formative years. He is almost a black belt! It’s something he is very proud of achieving and he looks forward to every class. The lessons he has learned here will last a lifetime.

Professional Taekwondo Studio has had such a positive influence on my son’s life. It has given him discipline, focus, and incredible fitness. All of the instructors and masters are wonderful teachers and wonderful people. I am so impressed with their methodology and educational philosophy. It is a first class martial arts school.

PTKD is a wonderful program that has built confidence, discipline and passion for the art. The instructors are engaging and make it fun for the kids. The best part is watching him in action at the tournaments!
