Project KE (Anime Club) reviews
19This is the best place to be. To participate in the crane games as well as the raffles that they have.
Lots of claw machines, anime blind boxes and huge selection of figurines and gunpla in the basement
Claw machines are programmed to have a weak grip, nearly every time it’ll pick up the plush then drop it, prepare to walk out with nothing unless you spend $40+ and have good luck. You’re better off just paying the money for the toy
Great store, awesome atmosphere, very good job in interior design, a lot of variety in figures of all kinds, definitely coming back again, thank you
Their workers have really bad attitude and no patience. When me and my friend were trying to figure out how to use their app and add tokens at the counter, the two workers kept on hurrying us to pay. The guy got annoying when my friend was trying to ask questions about how the app workers and told the girl in Chinese that “he couldn’t do it any more” and for her to take over. The girls attitude wasn’t any better, she looked like she could roll her eyes at us at any second and kept on demanding us to pay.
Super expensive claw machines with very little payback. $4 a play is too much! Went on a Sunday it was completely dead inside. I think given the amount of money you have to spend and the difficulty of the claws it leaves a bad taste when you leave the arcade. You can really spend a lot of money and go home empty hande.
This is definitely the hottest game center in New York right now. Almost all of the crane games are genuine, and the figures sold at the store are all genuine, and there is a wide selection of products.
The level of quality that sets it apart from other game centers in Flushing.
The staff are friendly and they often hold events, so I go there once a week.
Used to be amazing. Would go regularly with a large group. But weirdly after the official grand opening recently all of my friends and i have seen a very noticeable difference. Spent 100 walked out with maybe 1 small prize, when beforehand we would be able to spend 60+ and expect to talk out with multiple, and we would keep buying more coins. It was consistent, felt balanced, fair and fun. But now all of my friends who used to go often also said the same things about how different it is and we all agreed that it is really disappointing and won't be back. They will say the machines are fair but the difference is so distinct. Don't know why you would change anything, really sad because we loved going here and the workers were very nice and recognized a lot of us. I loved supporting this place and want nothing more than for it to go back to how it used to be
Project KE is the best! All the claw machines are fair and filled with real licensed plushes. The entire staff is so friendly and helpful too!
This place is a scam. You can spend 80 on one machine and still get nothing. The workers doesn’t care about their customers as well.
Not a good experience. Employees were rude and unhelpful. Several machines were out of service and ones available are impossible to win. People were vaping and blowing smoke into the air but no one is stopping them. Barely anyone on the game area to assist. No longer a safe and fun place. Kids were disappointed.
Really liked the downstairs area! Friend and I went on a Friday afternoon, and it wasn't really busy at all. Highly recommend!
The prizes are always very cute. Just wish I could win some l've spent up to 80 dollars every visit and have only been able to bring home one or two things.
The claws aren't very strong and the double tap method either doesn't exist in these machines, or it just isn't responsive.
It's very clean though and the employees are very nice. They gave me a couple of bonus tokens for getting the app.
For anyone wondering, tokens are a dollar each, and the machines are about 2-4 tokens per play.
For new visitors, I would cap at $40 for the claws. Don't be like me
THIS. PLACE. IS. AMAZING! We spent $60 and got 3 plushes from the pokemon claw machines, and they were ADORABLE! This was definitely worth the value, the staff were incredibly kind, and we had plenty of fun. We will visit again at our next chance!
Absolute scam. All the machines grab too lightly. They told me you have to be "Lucky" but every time I got a good grab the claw opened as it got to the top. We spent over $80 and walked out with nothing.
This place was super fun for the kids. The 12yo anime lover in the group was happy, as was the little one, who had the look of a casino junkie, when he saw the claw machines. Not the least expensive option, if you are with really young ones that may take awhile to win a toy before an adult has to help but we had a blast. Little guy even got a consolation prize from the staff, which was super cool. We will definitely be back.
Stopped by the other day on a whim, this place is so nice! Figures for sale in the downstairs with great prices and huge selection, and crane games on the first floor. The entire place is highly detailed and has a great theme going on.
Definitely give them a visit~
Very pricey but quality prizes. The plushies are nice and def is a challenge. But I feel like it would be better for me to just buy it than play for it. Most prizes are Pokémon and Sanrio. The place is really nice and I can’t stress the quality is up there, but not for someone on a budget.
1 token is $1 and machines usually $4/play. Smaller items are $2/$3. Staff willing to reposition but def takes a couple turns, can easily spend over $50. $1 game is a random luck hook game which surprisingly my bf won twice at.
Super clean and bright. Staff is super nice, also have some blind boxes for purchase.
My favorite crane place so far is Partea at Union Square, not Flushing.
High quality (real) products and in my opinionm the better of the crane game stores in Flushing NY. I won a few plushies on their grand opening day, and even went back for a nendroid figurine. Plushie crane games are upstairs and more merchandise downstairs along with Kuji games.
