1 Dec 2022. Christine and I were in need of replacing an old carpet in our living room, and replace an old carpet in our family room to a newer style wood floor material. The old carpets had areas of wear and even more noticeable were areas of extensive sun bleaching.
We needed our new carpet and wood floor to be sun bleached resistant, and also, puppy resistant.
We went to our local Pro Source Wholesale store and teamed up with Beth, a senior account manager for said company.
Miss Beth was totally professional, understood all our concerns and needs and knew immediately which products would best serve our needs. Beth also helped choose material colors to match our home decor, and even recommended an excellent installer to accomplish the job.
Our new carpet and floor is now installed. Everything came out PERFECT and we can't be more pleased. Thank you Miss Beth and Pro Source for all your help in upgrading our home to be
even better than we had hoped!

I was told about ProSource from Mr. Bob Finch of Wood on Wheels. We had a "plumbing mishap" in our 1913 historical home which warped the hardwood floor in our dinning room AND kitchen. Mr. Finch directed us to ProSource and we could not have been more satisfied.

Although ProSource is located off a main road, we found it. They had EVERYTHING to do with flooring at their showroom. My husband and I were impressed. TBH I'd never go to Home Depot or Lowe's again. Honestly, I wish we had known about it when we re-did two bathrooms. It was very difficult to find tile that we wanted.

ProSource's representative, Mrs. Beth Brown, guided us. We had a kitchen cabinet and a swatch of paint to see what laminates would work in the kitchen. She showed us three types of flooring. At no time did she try to "upsell" us or even "downsell" us. She offered her opinion and allowed us to make the decision of what flooring would work best.

We were able to pick the flooring up at ProSource, and thankfully, it fit into my sedan. Mr. Finch and his crew installed the flooring and it looks great. Heck, with the new paint color and even new overhead lights the kitchen floor made the kitchen look brand new.

ProSource OF Hudson Valley offers a large selection from which to choose. They make it easy to bring samples home at no charge to evaluate what would be best to use. We received helpful suggestions in selecting floor tiles that would work well with out new soapstone countertops and existing kitchen cabinets. Staff were very friendly, professional, and helpful. ProSource also offered referrals to professionals who could install our flooring. Both referrals were highly experienced, price competitive, and we're very happy with the quality of the work we received from the one we selected.

Matt at ProSource is great to work with. I came in three times to check out hardwood flooring. They have an amazing selection. I was able to take samples home to check out with the "Boss" AKA spouse. Matt was knowledgeable about flooring gave me good information with no pressure, My flooring was a special order and it came in two days amazing. The quality of the flooring is outstanding and the price was very reasonable considering the high quality. The warehouse person was very helpful in assisting me with the pickup up. Suzanne is a highly talented kitchen designer and delivered on every detail of our complete kitchen remodel. She helped design the kitchen layout, identified the best cabinets in our price point, selected color coordinating quartz countertops, ensured all our selected appliances would fit within the design, and even recommended the general contractor that ultimately completed the remodel work. Beyond the kitchen, she also assisted in selecting the perfect vanity for our powder room remodel and also custom ordered the runner carpet for our staircase. Nearly every piece of material for these projects was ordered through ProSource in Poughkeepsie! Their pricing is highly competitive, but above all, their customer service a second to none. Matt was so helpful! We ordered our flooring Monday and we had it by Thursday. That is unheard of these days. They were so prompt and made the process so easy.

Beth, the account manager, helped us every step of the way with her advise and experience. We loved the wide selection of brands to choose from at every price point and that we could take large samples (2x2 or 2x3ft) home to really see what the flooring would look like in our space. Beth was able to check availability directly so that there are no surprises and the flooring companies will ship materials to our home. Beth also communicated with our contractor so that everyone was on the same page.

Glad we made the trip to the showroom in POK. We got some amazing flooring and discovered brands that we would not have found otherwise at a very good price.

I'll admit that we should have had this review up a couple months ago, but that has given us extra time to evaluate the overall purchase and include it in this review. We had an excellent experience with ProSource and are really happy to have worked with Matt. We went to quite a few places in the area when looking for wood floors for a major house renovation and instantly decided on the flooring we ultimately purchased when we saw it on a return trip to ProSource and then worked with Matt throughout the process. We purchased between 2500 and 3000 sq ft and ended up with a price we were happy with but the real value came from working with Matt, who not only ensured our product arrived in great condition and exactly as expected and in the right quantity, he also helped us overcome an error with respect to the bullnose we ordered that was entirely on us and did it all without compromising a very tight timetable for our home and inspection and also during the pandemic, which created shortages, shipping challenges, etc. And, now, a few months later, we love our floors, are very happy with the quality and appearance and are happy to provide a 5.0 out of 5.0 for both ProSource and Matt.

The place is almost overwhelming with all the choices for flooring. Not inexpensive.but lots of choices.staff is attentive and helpful.but a bit understaffed at times. I recommend weekday visit.
