Psychic Records reviews
8Great little place with a pleasant and helpful owner, ready to help with an advice. A decent offer of cassette tapes, priced fairly. Drop by if you’re in Brooklyn.
Stopped in here on a whim looking for a specific new album. The owner (sorry didnt get a name) had exactly what i was looking for AND ended up quickly finding another record i had been on the hunt for. Good conversation, great vibe, well organized and cared for space. This is what a record shop experience is all about. Will certainly drop in next time im in town.
I came here for record store Day. Some stores start much earlier. Because they started at 11 instead of earlier, this meant I could go there after going to a different store and get a title for a friend who was working- the 11 am open time was perfect! The staff had everything very well organized and seemed to be in a great mood. This place is TINY but had a great vibe. Absolutely will be returning for future record store day events and for general record needs.
Cool little record shop. Not a lot of selection, and definitely no bargains (most prices are in the $18-$24 range) but fun to flip through the offerings as opposed to browsing Discogs.
Owner was rude, we were wanting to sell/donate our records and he said he didn’t want to take our “garbage “.
What a gem. This little shop is full of amazing finds, fair prices, and is really well organized. Authentic chill record store vibes. Love it.
Stopped by this record store while strolling through park slope with friends in the area. They had a lot of good things to say about their experiences here and I’m glad we got to pop in. It is very small, but that’s what makes browsing through the records fun. The owner was great and had a lot of good things to say about our purchases. He was also jamming some Sudan Archives in the shop, so what is not to like?
