Public School 161 Pedro Albizu Campos reviews
7Good people, honestly I loved my time in this school, even though some of the kids back then were annoying to deal with, they were fun nonetheless
I worked so hard throughout my years in this school and it did not pay off. Just kidding BTW Brian Firpo is my son
I used to be here (4 years ago) as a 3rd grader one of the teachers was absent most of the year
The School is great is like a big family understanding and Loving but do not enroll your child in the After School programs there they do not know how to deal with kids they squeeze their arms and tell the Kids they don’t want to hear it when they have a complaint, you come to pick up your child after work tired and all they do is complaint and lie after school teacher’s name is Ms Robinson, If you are not Qualified to deal with kids why have or work in a after school program, they don’t help the kids with their Homework they just doin it for the money. I hope the State stop funding this after schools that are no Good for the kids and Parents.
This school is like a big family. The Principal, assistant Principal and the teachers care. They want your child to succeed. My daughter was struggling from day one with different issues and they never gave up on her.
I hate this school but i gotta give it 4 stars cause i spent most of my childhood there so yea and i'm gonna miss it cause i'm going to high school now.but if i'm gonna be one to throw shade (no one gonna remember me anyways) the new assistant principal for middle school, M.s stoller is rude af and obviously has a lot to learn about the rules of the school, the old ap Ms. Medina was waay better even if she was rude too she was much nicer and had a great relationship with students.
We only know of this school through the honesty of one of its teachers. Mr. M found my son's wallet after he dropped it on the 'A' train. What a pleasant surprise to find the missing wallet in our mailbox this afternoon. Mr. M's generous and honest actions are appreciated. P. S. 161 is fortunate to have such great teachers!
