Pulse-MD Urgent Care, Mahopac NY

It was not a good experience I had a bad experience 1: 5 hours wait there was no air I feel suffocated. In a small room people cramp up. They didn't even offer to wait outside. I had to go sit in my car. I was seen by NP I wanted too see by a real Dr.after all. Everyone has different experience.

What a mix of experiences. First, the bad: 1.the website is completely misleading. It looks like you are making an appointment when all you are doing is pre-registering. So, the time you arrange has no relevance when you arrive. The company knows this but just doesn't change the website. 2. The receptionist refused to follow the policy of the company. Others in the office were very clear that patients could wait in their car and get called when it was their turn. The receptionist refused to follow this procedure even when there were not enough chairs for patients in the waiting room. Completely unacceptable! 3. So, I thought I had an appointment, arrived and was told there would be a 45 min to 1 hour wait, and finally got seen in just over 2 hours.

The good: The medical staff inside the office were wonderful. Caring, thoughtful, detailed. They figured out what was going on with me and got gave me the care I needed.

I was very happy with my experience at Pulse. I was seen right away, the practitioner examined me, was patient and explained everything I needed to know.

The wait was extremely long. 3 hours.but it was because they were busy with only one np on. Staff was great and Nurse Pract. Was great as well

I was able to make a quick appointment online and seen quite fast after arriving. The staff was very nice and the doctor was polite and knew exactly what my problem was and what to prescribe. Would definitely recommend this place.

I made an appt online. After I get a confirmation that the appt was set, I get a call that they are closing early and to visit a location that is further away. 2nd time something like this happened.

Great experience! Easy, quick, and excellent staff. The doctor had a wonderful, calm demeanor that made all the difference in our experience.

Friendly, quick, empathetic. Just a blessing. I ripped my finger open with a hedge trimmer and they quickly put me at ease. So happy to have them in the neighborhood!

I had an excellent experience at Pulse. I made an online appointment for the following day and was taken on time and treated with care and professionalism. The receptionist was very courteous and personable and the nurse, Joe, and doctor, Linda, were excellent. I highly recommend!

I like the fact that I could schedule an appointment on line and fill in the pre-appointment forms on line. They took me in a little after the appointment, but they were efficient, courteous and pleasant. They worked with me on the treatment without pushing anything on me (I refused the steroid treatment). I hope I don't need them too often, but when I do, I will not hesitate to go there!

I came here after the urgent care at Optum was a 2 hour wait. So much for more doctors and better service. The wait here was significantly shorter and the issue was dealt with swiftly and professionally. My go to now for urgent care.

Was taken in right away, everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely recommend.
