Puppets are amazing. The script for tin solider needs updating. The “poor helpless pretty blonde woman” was very 1950s and outdated

We are two adults (no kids!) who went to see the Puss in Boots show on Sunday and it was phenomenal. I haven't really thought about fairy tales in a while, so it was a fun throwback to my childhood to watch these fairy tales again - and from puppets no less! We liked how the shows are short (less than an hour), which made us realize that our attention spans are probably on the same level as the children we sat amongst. Nevertheless, the hour was replete with laughs and applause, so we were very happy we went. We will go again!

We take our girl to see a show at Puppet Works every time we visit NY and she is always thrilled. This is a delightful and enchanting place that transports audiences of all ages into the magical world of puppetry.

What sets Puppet Works Theatre apart is its commitment to the art of puppetry. The theater specializes in puppet performances, ranging from classic fairy tales to original productions. The craftsmanship and attention to detail in the puppetry are truly impressive, and it's clear that the puppeteers are passionate about their craft.

One of the highlights of visiting Puppet Works is the interactive nature of the shows. Children and adults alike are encouraged to participate, making each performance an engaging and immersive experience. The intimate setting of the theater creates a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for families looking for a memorable outing.

Additionally, the theater's commitment to fostering local talent and providing a platform for emerging artists is commendable. Puppet Works Theatre actively supports and nurtures the artistic community in Brooklyn, which adds to its charm and appeal.

Puppet Works Theatre also offers educational programs and workshops, making it an excellent place to introduce young ones to the world of theater and puppetry. The theater's dedication to fostering creativity and imagination in children is commendable.

While Puppet Works Theatre may not be as large or flashy as some of the more prominent venues in New York City, it offers a unique and charming experience that is perfect for a family day out or anyone looking to rediscover the wonder of puppetry. If you're seeking a place where storytelling comes to life through the art of puppetry, Puppet Works Theatre is a hidden gem in Brooklyn that promises a delightful and unforgettable experience.

Great show for kids. Class enjoyed themselves. Asked a lot of questions. Reasonable price.

This is an unique place, introducing children to puppets and marionettes. The shows are wonderful, with handmade marionettes, decors and original music. The puppeteers are very skilled and friendly. At the end of the show they will bring out a marionette so the kids can ask questions and take a closer look. What a treat!

The kids really enjoyed the Little red riding hood puppet show. The customer service was phenomenal.

The most amazing birthday party and puppet show! They were great to work with for coordinating our toddler's birthday party and had the space ready for watching the show and having a party after. The kids (10 3 year olds!) all sat and watched the show and loved meeting the puppets afterwards. It was perfect and an amazing price. Highly recommend!

The space was smaller than I expected, but it was enough for the 2 groups we went with. A bathroom is there, you can't miss it, and the exits are well marked. The show was great. It was my first puppet show, and our kiddos also loved it, This was evident by their oohhs and ahhs and oftentimes open mouths lol. If you are going with kids, I would suggest showing them pictures of the marionettes first. Most of our kiddos only knew cloth puppets. The show was about an hour and a half, and they gave the kids chances to ask questions. I think a good time was had by all.
