I love this place! Super friendly space and everyone truly seems to be happy there and cared for my two cats Gamma & Zeta with much love and patience. Dr. Riley is great and super informative throughout the checkups which I really appreciate. He even gave my babies a churu to help calm them:) and prices are very fair! Definitely recommend this vet for anyone within the neighborhood!

Very satisfied with the services so far. My puppy got sick and the vet followed up after our visit. The staff is very nice too.

I always get excellent care when I bring my cats in to the Clinton Hill clinic. The staff takes good care of them as if they were their own. And Dr. Reilly is exceptional, caring and honest. And no treatment is done until it's approved by me.

I am so incredibly happy with the service and care and love, yes love, this veterinary care center shows. I started going here with my first cat I had in the city. When he became ill they did everything they could before we needed to send him to another center. Now we have 2 rescue kittens - brothers - and the care and attention they receive is above and beyond. Any animal I have or anytime anyone asks where they should go for great vet care - I send them to Pure Paws.

I was new to the area and my dog had some bowel issues requiring urgent attention. I called Pure Paws and they got me in within two hours of me calling. They were welcoming, accommodating and professional. My dog is highly reactive to vets and very anxious when taken to the vet office. I warned them of this prior to coming in and they took extremely great care of him. The vet was able to give him a physical exam which I'd never seen a vet able to do before due to my dogs reactivity. Most vets I've seen don't try to touch him after he reacts negatively. I was nearly in tears watching the doctor treat him so kindly with what seemed like a 'magic touch! ' Also, they were very reasonably priced which is always a win. I'd recommend to anyone!

When our dog needed surgery and our regular vet was not able to perform it anytime soon, Pure Paws was able to schedule us quickly and provided great care and communication. As a result we are switching the care of our dog to them going forward.

(July 19th, 2023) Been taking my dog here since before it changed names, due to it being so close to the house, but have always gotten the used car salesman/car repair ick from them regarding billing. Statements like, "well if I ACTUALLY CARED about my pet I'd spring for XYZ³, " are not helpful for people making agonizing decisions about pets that could drastically alter their financial situation.
Watch your bill statement, as they've been known to tack on 'medical waste disposal, ' fees when conducting visits generating none. I was actually scoffed at by desk staff when I told them I didn't want to pay the $3.99 (or whatever) when checking out from a ten minute follow up visit where the animal was just weighed and visually inspected.
There seems to be a revolving door of doctors there, and vets never seem to stay longer than a year or two, which could also be indicative of how the place is run. The care my pet has received here has, however, seemed to be fine, albeit expensive (ain't capitalism great?).
Decided to write this review just now after being told that, while they had appointment times available today, they'd be billing me an extra $135 'urgent visit fee, ' since I was checking for same day service. This will likely be my last call to them, as they've confirmed that they don't care about your animals, and only about what they're going to buy with your money.

Recently, we adopted a second cat, Guanyin, from ACC. ACC offered a wellness free wellness check for her. From the first call to Pure Paws, they were so helpful and accommodating.

When I took Guanyin in for her wellness check, Pure Paws was very welcoming. They provide insight to Guanyin's tendency to eating all the food from our other cat!

All in all, I highly recommend Pure Paws!

I always have a great experience at Pure Paws. Our appointment was on time, Dr. Liff and the nurse were so kind to my two cats who have very different personalities at the vet… Justin is outgoing and happy and Vivian is very scared and grumpy. Staff approach to both was kind and compassionate. Dr. Liff explained all costs upfront giving me choices within my budget. I receive great communication after the visit always to check on the cats and convey test results. Always glad to come here!

Kane gets optimal care here. Wouldn’t trust him with any other vet. He’s been coming here since he was 10 weeks old. He’ll be 3 years old in July. Good people, professional staff, and great veterinarians.

People are very nice and attentive to your animal needs. They send out emails and constant reminders if your animals are due for shots, etc. Dr. Liff is great and I always schedule appts when she's there. She diagnosed my dog with pancreas issues a while ago and told me to take him to the hospital right away, which saved my dog life. I will never forget her, and will always schedule appts with her when shes there. My dog lets her examines him with no problems, considering he doesn't like most people.
They whole staff is very nice and treats you and your fur baby, with kindness and respect. I love this place.

Dr Stephanie Liff was the only vet who diagnosed my dog correctly. She was struggling with skin issues for over 2 years and previous places were sending me home with apoquel which decreased itching but never resolved the issue (hives that were itchy and oozing). Dr Liff diagnosed her right away, took a sample of hives and send us home with 21 day antibiotic which helped immediately! So thankful for such a knowledgeable and passionate veterinarian

Everyone was so friendly and assuring. Our kitty felt super safe and comfortable, and the team followed up after his check-in. Really appreciated all the communication and service!

Dr. Reilly is amazing! I always feel confident that when I bring my cat in for an appointment my concerns will be heard and taken into consideration, and that my cat is given the best care possible.

My 80lbs dog is terrified of the vet but this group of caring professionals makes the visits as painless as possible. They are so loving and nice and understanding. I could not recommend them enough.

Pure Paws treats my cat like he is important, loved and cared about with his best interests at heart.
