Quality Inn Buffalo-Niagara Airport reviews
22Worst experience ever. I have fully paid confirmed reservation but when I tried to to check in they said they are over booked and don't have any rooms left. I had no place to go in the middle of the night with two babies in the car. Hope there are some kind of regulations to stop something like this happening. Try to avoid this location. Go someplace else. I don't want to waste anymore time on explaining more about this place.
Manager was very nice and helpful. Hotel needs a lot of improvement, Rooms smells.bed covers have clorox stains, breakfast doesn't have much.
Horrible. Water was off, empoyee just walked in our room while door was locked on me and my wife with out warning. Desk clerks looked like meth heads. Hotel from hell.
Had a nice stay, room was very clean and staff was friendly. Got dropped off for our flight promptly.
Excellent customer service and people at the front desk were so nice and so good. I would definitely recommend.
I didn’t even get a stay.i’m 18 and am treating my boyfriend to a buffalo bills game (had it planned since the summer and the game is in october) and I called to say we would be arriving around 10 (we go to Penn state and have classes till three and it’s a seven hour drive) and they told me two days before the game that they wouldn’t let us stay there because we’re 18 and not 21. I said “what would you guys have done if I would have showed up” and they said “kick you to the street” WTF terrible quality. I checked the entire website and reservation confirmation. NOTHING about being 21. The lady on the phone admitted they don’t post it because they “don’t want people to be turned away by it” I am completely disappointed.if I could give no stars I would.
Old hotel and in need of maintenance. Peeling paint, mold and rust. The maid start cleaning at 8am, and they are noisy, they seemed eager for me to leave and removed my do not disturb. The fitness center equipment looks like it should be on side of road with "free scrap" sign, it should just be closed. Breakfast was subpar compared to other quality inns. Bright side, clean sheets, clean towels, good price, close to airport. I would not stay here again unless for less than 12 hr stay
Large rooms and great location. These attributes are offset by the lack of fridges (apparently only available in 8 rooms), subpar finishings in the room (ex: bathroom door wouldn’t latch) and a breakfast slightly worse than average for this type of hotel.
There are better airport hotel options in Buffalo.
This is my first time staying at this hotel chain and the experience is not pleasant. The only reason I chose to stay there is because I am supposed to meet someone who is staying there overnight, otherwise I would not have chosen the hotel at all.
The lady who checked me in was very nice and she even let me use her personal cellphone charging bloc.
Then things went downhill from there.
The room was old, not fancy, but the beds were clean so that was great. I did notice quite a bunch of ants in the bathroom but it was not that big a deal.
The hotel provides hot breakfast to guest. However, the regular guests eat in one room and guests from tour group eat at a different room. This means regular guest and tour group guest are served different food which is also understandable. Because I am an Asian American, the hotel staff thought that I was with the Asian tour group that was staying overnight there. That was not that big a deal either as I understand the staff's concern. So I explained that no, I am a regular guest at the hotel and my room number is xxx. Somehow, she just would not believe me. She found the guide of the tour group and asked him whether I was with his tour group. Naturally the guide said that no I was not part of his group. Only then did she stopped accusing me but she never apologized. I was very much insulted at her lack of trust purely based on my Asian look and skin color.
Then, I realized that my key card would not work any more. So I told the front desk and they re-keyed my card. Still I can not open my hotel door. Then I went to ask for re-key a second and a third time. Finally I dragged the front desk guy to my door and he tried and could not open my door. It was only then he quickly realized something, went back to the front desk and came back a moment later, voila, the green light blinked and the door opened. I did not know what to make of it.
So, my advise to you, try a different hotel as there are a couple of hotels right next to this one. Pay a little more as you deserve to be treated right.
I am a firm believer in the concept that you get quality and service on par with the price paid. No where is this more true and evident than with Buffalo International Airport Quality Hotel. As a result on that basis I've given the hotel 4/5. I would not recommend this hotel as a base to explore surrounding area for an extended period of time. Me and my wife stayed for less than 12 hours as a lay over between flights.
The hotel is very dated and is clearly in need of major refurbishment in both the rooms and common areas. Our room was reasonably clean and tidy albeit one of the pillows were stained some of the others were faded. The room had a number of amenities including tea & coffee making facilties, TV and a strong Wi-Fi signal. However, we did find a loose plug socket. The bed was comfortable and warm and I did get a decent night's sleep. However, other reviews regarding the paper thin walls are accurate. As I did hear my neighbours conversation quite clearly and they were not particularly speaking loudly.
Finally, the staff were great and genuinely did provide a good service and the airport shuttle was a great addition. The breakfast was decent although it was not very environmentally friendly, given every single thing from cutlery to cups was single use plastic. Its just a shame they are not supported with a decent level of investment into the property and facilities.
Dated quality inn with thin walls, you can definitely hear adjacent rooms talking. The beds are extremely firm, this is a deal breaker for me. A bed should not be this rock hard, impossible to get a decent night's sleep. I will be finding another hotel tomorrow, unacceptably hard!
Beautiful Hotel, staff was friendly. Had a short sleep since I was in transit to catch my flight back to Newark.
Fantastic place! Customer service is always on point. Rooms are clean and it's convenient for those early morning flights.
Clean rooms.
The vending machine have a credit card slot but doesn't work.
Towels had someone's hair in them.
Ice machine was out of ice the whole time i was there.
Good rooms, clean, comfortable beds. It's close to the airport. Free breakfast with eggs and sausage which wasn't the best but it's edible there is also fruit, yogurt, waffle, bagels, muffins, danishes.
Not so great. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay near Buffalo, you can go for this. There is free breakfast. Location is good.
Good place to Sleep, Park and fly. Sleep overnight and park your car in their parking lot till you return. Free shuttle to and from BUF Airport.
Very good value for the money spent for overnight stay and parking for 2 weeks. Right in front Buffalo International Airport.
It's not so good.we had booked for a smoke free room as I have a small baby but they gave us a smoking room and told that that had no other rooms available.but finally after so much arguments they gave us a room without refrigerator and microwave and it was not cleaned properly.but next day they changed our room.
The room had leaks, insects and mold. Luckily I only had to bare this nightmare for 3 hours till my flight. Honestly the only good thing here was the fact that breakfast starts at 4am and its has a shuttle.
