Queens Beauty Salon, Rego Park NY

I started coming here about a year ago for my brows and not only have they been extremely professional each time, but they've often been able to take me as a walk in. I have a hectic work schedule and really appreciate the flexibility. I've seen several technicians and they've always been mindful of my sensitive skin when threading or waxing and are very friendly. I would recommend them in a heartbeat!

This is the absolute worst place ever, do not go here! Not only is their service terrible, but the customer service is even worse. I went to get my eyebrows threaded just to clean them up before taking family photos at my cousins wedding. I’ve been here before but I guess the woman who did my eyebrows was either new or never did mine before. She ended up threading a chunk of hair on one eyebrow that should never have been touched. I could feel something was off so I asked her to please stop and I’d like to look in the mirror. Turns out I was correct and she took off a patch of hair in the front on one eyebrow. (See photo attached) When I asked her why she did that she told me my eyebrow was already like that before she touched them which is definitely not the case. I had no choice but to go buy an eyebrow pencil right after and fill it in so it would look somewhat decent for the photos. I am extremely dissatisfied with the lack of service and professionalism. Instead of offering an apology she was argumentative which made the matter worse and is the reason why I feel that I needed to write this review.

I've gotten my eyebrows and upper lips threaded at many places prior to setting foot in here. Every time, I'd be tearing up and wincing A LOT as I sat in the chair wishing that the salon professional hurry up. At Queens Beauty Salon, however, the professional who did my eyebrows (didn't get her name) took her time in doing my eyebrows. As a result, there wasn't much pain. The professional was also quick so that I was not holding my head at the awkward angle. She gave me a mirror and fixed any mistakes. The salon workers all kept a mask on as they worked with their customers.

Extra star for the professionals keeping everyone's health and safety in mind as they worked. There were two patrons who came in without masks and the salon professionals asked them to wear a mask. When the patrons admitted that they didn't have one, the professionals readily provided one for them to use.

I have been doing my hair with Manita since I was 23 which is 5 years now! I am so happy with how she color and cuts my hair I follow her everywhere! Not to mention the salon is easy to get to by public transportation if driving is not an option. I would definitely recommend this salon and ask for MANITA for any hair types. Color, cut, keratin and more she has done it all for me over the years and I am hard to make happy:) A+

The worsttttt salon ever.never go to this place.they will rip off ur money. I went in for a facial, “Mandy” did my facial, no massage, no cleansing, nothing just 2-3 different face masks and she will leave u alone in the room.and they had the audacity to charge me $85. I can buy my own face masks and apply it at home, why I need to waste money. DO NOT GO THERE.

Staff here are very sweet, kind and committed to doing their best to make customers happy. Thank you very much!

The worst parlor. Never go there, specially for facials. Me and my daughter got burnt skin, leave the steamer on our face for 15 min. Waste my hard earned money for nothing.

I love coming here, the ladies are always friendly. They take your temperature upon entry and stay masked up while performing your services.

She threaded my face and waxed my body. I have such inflammation and rash, I was prescribed antibiotic ointment. She butchered my back and now there is acne everywhere. My face has hyperpigmentation and open flesh. Never again. I am upset. This is absurd and ridiculous.

Yesterday, I went to this beauty shop to have an appointment for my facial. I was so happy because Victoria was the one who took good care of me. I like her because he was so kind and funny. I can say that you trained him to become more competent in everything he did. Huge thanks, guys! Strongly recommended!

Waxing is amazing and not painful by Ms Mandy. I went many beauty saloon for waxing. This lady is really professional.

I saw Mandy today 1 time and she s amazing!
Best waxing I have ever done and completely painless. She s so such a blessing. I'm looking forward to see her again. She is skilled and truly cares and handles the mirror after every step. I mean who does that anyways? Only someone who wants to make sure her clients are pleased and I'm very satisfied w the end results. It’s super clean and Mandy is great.

Sorry to say but this beauty salon has to be the worst experience ever. Bad service, the haircut was a joke. The timing was ridiculous (they kept me waiting around forever) I left this salon with a headache from the stress i had there. Worst haircut I've ever had - please it's an insult to charge what they did for the service received. The staff are unfriendly and an awful atmosphere. I would never return to this salon even if they offered me a free service

Love the ambience. Everyone is super friendly. Recommend Zeenat for everything especially hair. She is superrrrrr <3

Good parlor, have always had a pleasant experience with them. Been going here for a few years now. Also quite reasonably priced!
