Despite reading all the negative reviews, and not being able to speak with someone on the phone, this location is 3 minutes away from work so I thought it was worth a shot. When I arrived, there was already a patient waiting outside for their appointment. The door was locked and lights were off. I tried calling but no answer. After 5 minutes of banging on the door another patient showed up also with a scheduled appointment. Someone finally unlocked the door only to share that someone on staff walked off the job! Not sure if it happened today but she seemed frazzled. Closest location is either Manhasset or New Hyde Park. Don’t waste your time coming here.

They actually hate humans here. The way they treated people……
children in particular was atrocious! In front of everyone in the waiting room. They are really, really unprofessional. I’m not sure how they are still open.there is nothing simple or convenient about this place. Worst experience ever and I know I’m not alone. Everyone in the waiting room shared the same experience.
Once inside lab technicians were much nicer. They really should have a more pleasant human at the front

I honestly wish I could give negative stars. The employees here do not know how to treat patients. I had to drop off a sample; both my doctor and I were unaware that required an appointment. I was literally screamed at by their employee for daring to try to drop it off without an appointment. She refused to accept it and proceeded to also scream at the patient behind me who attempted to come in as a walk in.

No one deserves to be screamed at and treated in such an inhumane matter. I will gladly drive the extra 15 minutes to go to the Great Neck or New Hyde Park location.

Checked in for my 1pm appointment and chose the option to wait outside since the waiting room was pretty crowded. I entered my phone number and received a confirmation text. I never received a follow up text to let me know to come back inside as instructed. The person came out to scream at me saying I was late. I explained the situation, but she simply closed the door. I was given no explanation on what happened or when I would be seen. Unprofessional.

Checked in for a blood test with a lab order from employer as an email with a bar code. Office empty around noon. Diana started to yell at me for not having a printed paper order. She cannot scan the bar code or get this done. Unprofessional and unacceptable.

Had a great experience today getting a blood test. As soon as I checked in at the kiosk, I was called in. The lab tech was really friendly and knowledgeable and it was the most painless experience I’ve had taking blood. Very quick process and was out within 15 minutes of arriving.

Update May 2023: The phlebotomist Troy is great - an easy, painless experience. Highly recommend Troy. I usually do not have to wait long, especially on weekday mornings. My doctor has been receiving my "stat" results super quickly from them. Grateful for that, too.
Previously, also had a good experiences with Natalie and Estella here! I like this location, fast/clean/pleasant experience, and I will be back.:)

Worst Quest I ever been to! Made appointment at 8: 00 am the available time was 9: 20. After I checked in waited for over a hour. The lab tech was harsh, and messed up my sample. I had to wait until 10: 20 to take again. I would go to another location. Quest should be more professional

Went for a drug test. On their website it doesn't state that you need a doctor's order in order to have it done there. The first lady I dealt with was very rude and told me I had to just buy a test on a 3rd party site with no other instruction or information when asked what I'm supposed to be looking for. She then sent me out and told me to book another appointment another time. Once ordered, I dealt with Natalie and she was very nice and kind. She was also very clear with her directions and was very pleasant. She's the reason that this isn't a one star. If you get Natalie it'll probably be a pleasant experience but it's the luck of the draw.

Online website doesn’t work to make appointments. Call to a schedule appointment and they say no, just walk in no appointment needed. Show up at 7: 30am when they open, and the iPad check in service only gives option to make an appointment for 5hrs later. Absolutely ridiculous-why didn’t they just make an appointment for me when I called?

They have issues! I've needed to do bloodwork a few times in the past year. A few months ago, I found they were closed due to "maintenance issues" so I had to go elsewhere. Alas, I just got an email that the appointment I had scheduled for today again is cancelled because the facility is "closed for a maintenance issue. "

I think I'm going to get use to looking elsewhere since this location isn't dependable!

Webster's dictionary defines "maintenance" as "the upkeep of property or equipment. " Perhaps if they maintained or took better care of their facility they wouldn't have to close so frequently.

Absolutely awful experience if you need to take a child. They insist they know what they’re doing with children and completely failed to get the blood results we needed because a 3 year old “doesn’t stay still” - after sticking several times and having zero understanding of how to interact with scared children. Avoid at all costs if you have kids.

Horrible, horrible. What happens when a company gets too big? No customer care, inconsiderate employees

I have been using the quest lab over by the Mineola train station for all of mine and my mother's blood work. Frankly the place is awful and the people are not very nice. I decided to give this location a try yesterday needing blood work for me and my mother. The place is absolutely spotless, the people were really nice and accommodating, the electronic check-in was seamless, and the parking was way better than the Mineola location. Stella was extremely nice, efficient, and respectful to my mother. Will always come back here going forward!
