Quest Diagnostics Selden reviews
18After 2 hours of waiting for the opportunity to pee in a cup for gainful employment, I was rushed and not allowed to take the necessary time to create the lemonade. On the second attempt I was rushed even more. If I have to wait over 2 hours then they can wait more then 2 minutes. Very unprofessional and rude. I know it's a drug test but still treat people with dignity. Everyone's bladders work differently and some of us can't pee on command. Thanks to this I must now request my employer resend the script so I can take my lemonade elsewhere.
Their staff are stupid they don’t explain or advice the client/patient when it comes the specimen sample.
Reading all the reviews I was nervous for my daughters first blood test at 13yrs old. We scheduled an appointment online, checked in and waited about 1hr. ALL MEDICAL OFFICES HAVE A WAIT. Our tech Natalia was patient and knowledgeable with all my daughters questions and made her feel comfortable. No issues with staff, just the entitled people in the waiting room.
No one to talk to just a kiosk. Made an appointment, have been waiting half an hour past my time.
Extremely slow. Yesterday I came in as a walk in because I wasn’t able to get an appointment and people with appointments were even waiting long. At one point a woman came in and didn’t even wait in the waiting room. She walked all the way to the back and demanded someone draw her blood and they did! After that I left. I couldn’t believe they allowed that while the waiting room was full of people that were there for hours. I ended up getting an appointment at the Bayshore location and was in and out. They were so much more accommodating there and organized. I’ll never go here again.
My doctor requested that I drop off a urine specimen at the lab. I checked the quest website and they didn’t have any appts available because it was a same day collection. I decided to walk in on a Saturday. I checked in on their kiosk because they won’t let me just drop off the specimen. It’s 2 hrs later and I’m still in the waiting room waiting to be called in. By the looks of it, it’ll be another 1-2 hrs here. This is the slowest PSC I have ever been to and it should not take this long for a specimen drop off. Do better Quest!
I personally had no issues at this location. I scheduled an appointment, checked in and completed the test in 20 minutes. They were professional.
Sitting here over 2 hours for my daughter, i understand appointments go first, but why take walkins at all if you take in appointments that walk-in early. To top it off it's fasting bloodwork, place is a joke!
The director or management need to pay attention about this quest place. I had appoinment today at 10: 30 with online chekin. Also i have text msg confirmation. Stil they denied my appoinment & didnt do my blood work. I always hate quest but my doctor have only account with quest thats why i had to go. Staffs behave are very bad & rude. Raciest people work there!
This place was absolutely terrible. I was a walk in (which I fully understood that there was going to a long wait time) and patiently waited my turn when I got called in by Carmen who was so incredibly unhelpful and unprofessional. Telling me that there was no script sent over and while I ask if she can call the facility to get the script faxed over because I was having a hard time reaching them, rudely said that they’re going to do the same thing to me. I understand that but she had no desire to help me then I had to run to my car to see if I had the physical copy and when I came back she said that I am wasting her time and I was so lazy that I couldn’t get the hard copy and of course I went back at her as I am a healthcare professional I could NEVER in my right mind EVER speak to a patient like that. I said she was being unprofessional, unhelpful and rude and she snapped back saying that I was and that it was my fault that I chose to be a walk in rather than having a appointment which I didn’t even mind waiting versus people that had appointments who were freaking out the whole time time I was waiting. I understand they were short staff but to call a patient lazy, wasting her time and unprofessional is actually disturbing. What if I was a elderly or disabled patient who had the same issues? It’s absolutely appalling and I will never go back to quest and will tell all my patients to never come to this unprofessional place. So disgusting.
From a total terrible experience to a moderate level service. In my previous reviews I wrote exactly what I got. With my recent experience, things were lot more cooperative, helpful and patient. I hope this experience will not go backwards. Keep it up.
PS: don't go there without appointments. No improvement there!
This place is horrible. Idk who does the staffing but they’re terrible at their job. They told me it was going to be an hour and a half wait just to drop off a specimen that was supposed to be in the freezer and I had an appointment. Are you kidding me? Don’t go here.
I would give a zero if I could. The place is filthy, and the staff is rude. They are also improperly trained to deal with children using the improper needle.
I scheduled an appointment, checked in over text, and and they neglected to check that the had to text me and closed the lab 50 minutes later without seeing me in the order that I checked in.
I scheduled an appointment on the day of and was in and out in less than 5mins. Granted I have good veins, but I appreciate the cleanliness and respect this place has!
Very unhappy with the service here. Was ordered to have a urine sample dropped at a lab by the physician on Friday. Took it to what 5 on Saturday. Was a simple specimen drop. Was told I have to sign in as a walk in or needed an appt, just to drop a specimen. Signed in. Waited a half hour. Another person there had been waiting for over 2hrs to get a fasting blood draw as a walk in. Ridiculous that they don't build walk in times into the schedule on a Saturday, especially if the appts for Saturdays book up so quickly. Won't go back
Totally should question their code of ethics.
They rejected to care for my wife as a “walk in”
Last time I checked healthcare professionals are mandated to care for people who need care.
And not to mention thats what has branded quest in the first place, most people like them because they took walk -ins.
Ridiculous!
The techs that work at the labs are great, always pleasant and professional. But trying to get anyone online or on the phone is impossible. So you can have COVID and not even protect yourself or others because you can't access your results. There is no tech or person help. It's like scam unless your results are going directly to the Drs. Avoid if possible.
