QuickChek, Middletown NY

Very nice, clean place to stop for gas and a bite to eat. The food is fresh and the service is efficient with pleasant employees. I will stop here again.

Traveler's review for gas only. If you are traveling from Canada or another country do not stop there for (inside prepaid) gas as they need a US zip code to accept your credit card. PIN not accepted here. (same problem as pay at the pump) but at the cashier inside to prepay your gas, I needed to wait 5 minutes in line to find out. Hard to believe in 2023. I have no problem with my card anywhere else in the USA, now that I know, I will be avoiding all QuickCheks in the future.

Definitely don't pay for cash for your gas at this quick check because Thomas at the register doesn't know how to be polite to his customers OR how to work a register. I went in twice telling the girl behind the counter it wasn't working and twice they told me I wasn't pumping correctly. I pump my own gas all the time, I'm not inept. The problem ended up being Thomas put my money on the wrong pump and when I told him he was wrong he looked at me like an alien. The worst part about the entire experience is how aloof and absolutely unapologetic the dude is. I had such a bad experience I'm putting a rating on a gas station, that should tell you enough.

Always messing up my sandwich order. Messy or missing an item like oil or not enough mayo on the sandwich

The manager Randy wouldn't allow my dasher to substitute milk preference. I was already paying extra for soy and he wouldn't allow me to get 2%. I wasn't even asking for the 75 cents back

They need to keep their restrooms in better condition, I almost got sick to my stomach when I went into the men's room. Most Quick checks have clean restrooms but my experience at this one was awful

Went to this QuickChek location Friday around 5-5: 15 in the morning. When I walked in both employees were sitting at one of the tables talking. I went to the Soda Fountain machine which was absolutely horrid, there was grime all over the machine and something foul by the drain, definitely did not make me want to purchase a fountain soda. In addition the floor was so sticky and gross that my shoes stuck to it as I was walking and the more I looked around the dirtier the place was. Surely one of the employees sitting there doing nothing could've sprayed down the machine or mopped the floor. Despite there being several customers inside in addition to myself the two employees did not get up or acknowledge anyone until I was leaving. This disappointing experience is something I'd expect at a local Shell or Citgo location, not a QuickChek. I definitely will not be purchasing a fountain soda or any food from this location due to the lack of cleanliness standards I observed and the no care attitude I observed from the staff. Extremely disappointing experience

They never have paper in the gas pump printers do if you want a receipt, you have to go inside, if there are others already in line, you have to wait, to get something that should be easily provided!
