Rachels Mediterranean Grill, Amherst NY

I had a schwarma on a peta. I tasted like regular chicken with some tahini that barely flavorful. It was a chicken sandwich not schwarma. I had better from other restaurants particularly in Toronto where there is a large Lebanese population and they have the cultural background to make great dishes.

This was an 100% lacking in cultural context.

My wife and I spent $25 for 2 pitas and soft drinks in a bottle (coke fountain was out of order). I mused that is 1/5 to 1/6th of our weekly food budget at Aldi's which we visited right afterwards in the same plaza.

Restaurant fare should be an experience to enjoy for that price. Mediocre experience here knowing they could do much better.

The prices are just outrageous. $19 for a salad and a drink. The food is great tasting but they are very skimpy on amount versus price. I used to love to get lunch here regularly but I’ll chose Chipotle over this.

This place is amazing for friendly talks, especially the original! The food is 100/10. I recommend

I love Rachel’s don’t get me wrong, just very dissatisfied in my order today, a lot of my rice was over cooked, had to throw a lot of it out unfortunately too. Chicken was okay but that too seemed overcooked or everything just wasn’t fresh. Good food usually but bad experience today

Terrible customer service and they don’t have phone service that I can reach out to regarding my order. I used rachel’s app to order delivery which I never received and went to store in person to pick up, they straight up told me that they are not able to give me my order because “someone took it to deliver”. When third party is used to deliver, I understand there could be some miscommunication but I believe they didn’t handle well and pretty much told me that I was lying (why would I waste 45minutes of my time to go all the way to store to pick up when I paid tip and delivery fee if I received order?)
Be careful when you are putting in for delivery because there is no way of contacting this store and you can’t even get refund for your order when you didn’t get anything

Rip off! Their phones doesn’t work, so you can’t call them when your delivery driver decides not to deliver the food (after waiting an hour for it already)

Very disappointed. Can’t contact them because there phone doesn’t work. I want my refund!

Awesome place great Mediterranean food options very filling great customer service prompt fast delivered a good product atmosphere calm relaxed nice place for a great meal reasonable priced
