7 So everybody is pretty aware that its difficult to find a reliable mechanic…all over.
I got tired of taking my cars to Nissan of Staten Island as the service went a bit downhill. The prices went way up at SI NISSAN.
Rafis is conveniently located 5 lights from my house. I just needed a simple inspection and the woman handling the phones was HIGHLY accommodating. Her name is Murav and she happened to be the owner. They make no money from an inspection. She told me exactly when to swing by. And when I did, they knew who I was.
They got me in and out. They were friendly, they were honest. Moving forward, I found myself my new mechanic.

They work super fast and great price. I went for an oil change and was out in less than hour. I also went to have my brakes serviced, again were super fast and service was done well.

We were referred to Rafi by a collision place my friend worked for. They do fast work, reasonable prices, they don't pressure you to do work. They advise what's wrong, what's best but leave it up to you if you want the work or not. Other places make you think you HAVE to do work they recommend. We took our car to the dealership for a fluid check up, we paid over $500 in parts and labor. Went to rafi's for an oil change and get an estimate for another job. We did the oil change and had to go back because he had to order a part. So when we went back to have work done, we asked him to do it and that's when he told us he checked last week and we were fine. No extra charges. Show up early if you need Saturday work. People start lining up 730-8am.
