Asian Restaurant Raku reviews
13First time ordering delivery and we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of sushi at a reasonable price range. Will be ordering again so please keep up the good quality! So happy we found this place. Miso soup was too salty but it was an easy fix with adding some hot water.
I had vegetable ramen and my friend had the one with seafood. Probably the best ramen I ever ate in my life. Delicious broth and crispy veggies, prices are reasonable, waiter was very nice. I will come back for sure to try sushi and some other things:)
I LOVE you guys! Please tell me you haven’t closed and will be resuming delivery again soon! I’m going to starve! Haha
Great local sushi place, really tasty, rolls were great. Not too expensive and super good local vibes. Not overly fancy and service was good. The complementary miso was enjoyable as well. Finally, atmosphere was excellent and felt both friendly and authentic. Would come back.
This little place right off the park was an amazing find. Probably the best meal I had in nyc. Food was top notch, service was fantastic and the experience reminded me of the little holes in the wall I popped into in Tokyo.
The bento box is recommended and gives a ton of food. Plus comes with ice cream. Red bean is the way to go.
RAKU is a Japanese restaurant on Columbus Ave & 76th street. Our business meetings for our clients with a fine taste of Japanese cuisine takes place here. Their sushi is always fresh, great ambience and their service is outstanding. Our clients are always very happy.
Fresh fish was great, good service as well! They even sat us without a wait which may have been luck.
Everythink was amazing. Great restaurant with fresh and delicious sushi for good price. I really recommended
The smallest size sushi I've ever eaten. Literally, the size of my pinky. Overpriced obviously
Excellent japanese eatery close to Met museum and was the perfect lunch spot after all day on our feet.
We based meal on the TERRIFIC value Bento boxes, with some extra rolls and tempura (fried to perfection with no oily, sogginess tempura often has in lower - quality establishments.
Our server was fantastic, friendly and attentive. Advising us on the perfect variety to sample their excellent wide ranging menu. ️
Highly recommended searching this out on a residential street. Well worth the search. And once you've discovered Raku guarantee you'll be back. The obviously local clientele and numerous take out orders we watched being picked up proof!
A shame I don't live on the upper east side to make this regular dining!
Very disappointing of our take out order. We have been fan of Raku for more than 10 years. We thought their sashimi are consistently fresh, service is great and love their portion too. We order a mix special roll and a dragon roll. Mix special roll smells. Dragon roll has little eel. Hamachi Kama was half burnt, salmon bento box came with a dry salmon and a stale sushi roll. Even the rice was stale. Quite disappointing
It’s not too authentic, it’s Chinese owned Japanese restaurant but the server lady is really nice and the amount of food is a lot for the price. Taste is fine as well. Their bento is essentially a course meal and only 25 so it’s pretty good
One of the best Ramen dishes in town. We also ordered a veggie sushi dish which was absolutely gorgeous and delicious. I wish I could add photos, but the lighting at the place needs some help.
Also, the menu is a bit rough on eyes that are foreign to the kitchen, but the waiters are super helpful.
