Ramada by Wyndham Yonkers

The most disgusting place I've ever been to. Dirty old furniture, dirty floors, broken doors, bathroom sink broken, blood on doors and super dirty. The worse is that our floor had overseas guest that were rude, loud and disrespect (knocking on our door and running away, about 20 people talking infront of our door, screaming, yelling) and The Managers did nothing about it. HORRIBLE PLACE. I was going to a baby shower, had no choice but to go buy cleaning products and clean the room because it was a holiday weekend and there was nothing else we could book near the Baby Shower we were attending. I should have slept in my car.

This is the worst experience I have ever had while staying at a hotel. My room was very dirty (room #109). The bathroom ceiling was stained and about to cave in. The carpet in the room was filthy. The bed was full of hair from previous guest. The next morning after waking up, I saw a mouse run across the room. It ran inside a hole in the wall behind the sofa chair. I sealed it inside the with a tray using the lamp post and a stack of cups that they had on the table in the room next to the coffee maker. I asked to change my because of the mouse and they gave me another room. As soon as I opened the door there was a strong oder of cigarette smoke. I went back to the front desk to complain and the receptionist gave me another room. This one was a lot better than the last but the bathroom ceiling was also stained and the tub moldy. I had another night there, but I checked out before. I couldn't stay there another minute.
Judging by all the negative reviews of this place.
Whatever company is in charge of hotel safety needs to Inspect this hotel. It should be shut down immediately. It's a threat to public health and safety.
I gave it a one star rating, because the woman that works in the cafeteria that restocks the "breakfast snacks" is very nice. Also Montse that works for room service is very hospitable.

My room was totally disgusting. The room was dirty with stains on the walls and on the sheets. There was an opened soap bar in the shower. I don’t recommend this place.

This motel was dated but comfortable, clean and the representatives were friendly and professional.

Room and hotel was disgusting, the carpets of the hallways were completely black and full of dirt, and the room smelled like cigarette smoke and pee, the bed sheets were stained and dirty and the room was overall gross, regret giving my money to this place will never stay again.

The hotel is old and needs to be remodeled. The first floor is like being inside a freezer, because it's partially under gropund I don't recommend staying there if u have family traveling. Because u can drive a couple miles up the road and stay at the Courtyard Marriott.

Disgusting. This place has bed bugs. The floors were sticky, and the doors had giant holes in them. The dresser and desks and sheets had holes in them from cigarette burns and the amount of dust and grime in between all the crevices was foul. The bathroom had mold and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. Told us after we found the bed bug that they could not give us a full refund because we had spent the night. Do not give this place your money or time

Good price good rooms. Some places in lobby like the ceiling need a little work and the hallway carpet might be nice if replaced with vinyl but you can tell that they have been doing lots of renovation over the last months/years. Perhaps with another person or two renovating they would be able to upkeep the building. Regardless the price was great the employees were very respectful and helpful and the rooms I were in (223 and 228) seemed to be recently renovated (floor and paint, furniture seems to be old but not mismatched). Overall good experience dont let the exterior scare you. Might smell like weed/cigarettes in the hallway but its a hotel in ny so it is expected. No bedbugs found in my room.

Am still wondering why this hotel is still operating? It is probably the most unclean “hotel” I have ever been to. The whole place smelled and was so dirty, it’s amazing how they get away with it. The operators are not making an effort to clean up under guests. My room had a bad smell and after looking around, I found half eaten food from previous guests in the drawers! I don’t want to be that person making another business suffer but they are not even trying. It is easy to spread disease because they don’t clean the rooms.

The rooms at the location are not good at all there’s a smell the hotel is old might as well be a motel the roof in my room I had a leak the air heat did not work properly the carpet in the hall is older than the hotel this does not need to be a Wyndham brand hotel it makes the brand look bad the hotel needs to be closed down immediately

Very run-down hotel; obvious that minimal maintenance has been done over many years; unclean bathroom, hole in the bathroom door and door did not close properly; no door chain on the main door. Would not recommend this hotel and would not stay again. Staff was friendly, though.

Good: Friendly staff. Safe. Free parking.
Bad: Dated rooms with worn out furnishings. Bathroom with significant mildew and dirty feel.

It appears they are doing some renovation to the building which is good. However they should make an effort to keep customers away from the work. I had a few rooms for my employees and found out they were placed between two rooms thst were being renovated. There was constant banging and noise, and sheet rock dust all over everything. Plastic and ventilation fans should be used and there should be a strict cutoff on start and stop times for the work. The hotel is priced high for the construction type experience - untilt he renovation is done guests should get a large discount if nearby the construction.

I would also recommend the site considers using the 2nd floor area above the front receiving area for a type of table and chair R&R space. The area overlooks the pool which is decent and could be used for a nice patio for the guest.

Please be aware I book this a week before coming I clearly looked for hotel's not motel big difference I got there I thought I was in a movie or I was being prank I walk into the dirtiest hotel in my life there was dirt every where I still gave them the benefit of doubt, I went in the room furniture was dirty bed looked like springs where about to pop out if you sat to long in the bed, bathroom where dirty shower curtains where all stains, went and polity ask for a different room being I already was to late to book another place, went in the 123 and had the size of a hole where a camera was recording everything I was in shock, it clearly is false advertising no pool, vending machine was empty had two items you have to be aware this is not safe at all. I left right away.

If we had not flown I would have slept in my car!
If you have no other option I guess it's a roof over your head. The beds are full of springs and haven't been changed in who knows how long. The pillows were horrible, bring your own!
There were 2 holes in the wall one was "fixed" with a plastic bag. There was mold in the shower and the wall paper was peeling off the wall with plaster all crumbling behind. The bathroom floor was sticky, thank god we had sandals to shower with. The chair in the room was stained, it was so disgusting. To top it off the WIFI didn't reach the room. My piece of advice if you can stay anywhere else do it until there is some major work done on this location.

I made a reservation for one night Oct. 1,2022 because I had a wedding to attend in the Bronx. The room was horrible. The window did not close or lock, there were stains on the sheets and I found a shoe by the side of the bed. Unfortunately, we were pressed for time and had to dress quickly for the wedding, therefore we decided to make additional complaints upon our return. Complaints fell on deaf ears so we left. The room number was 209. I have pictures of the sheets and shoe. You’re better off sleeping in your car. Avoid this place at all cost.

This hotel was remodeling when we stayed and the noise in the morning was impossible. We requested to move to another room with less noise. This hotel is very old, there were holes on the doors, the walls, the cabinets. The beds were confortable but the small pillows were not. There was a strong pot smell on the hallways. The location was convenient because we have family in Yonkers and definitely we are not coming back to this place. The free breakfast included was basic with bagels, coffee, and apples, the orange juice machine was only water. Do not recommend this place.
