Literally, and I cannot emphasize enough, the worst lawyer you could ever possibly hire. My experience with him was atrocious.

Sal is extremely lazy and takes a reactive, rather than proactive approach. It took ONE month for my contract to be signed because he did not follow up with my realtor or the sellers side for the needed documents. After one month of continously asking for a status update, I put him on an email chain with my realtor and asked him what he was missing. As soon as he replied with what he was missing, my realtor sent it to him and my contract was signed in about 24 hours. There was absolutely no follow up, care or due diligence on his part.

He consistently claimed he called and emailed the management company but no one answered him. However, every single time I called they answered. I even had to make three way calls with the management and him so he could stop pretending they weren't answering and get what he needed from them. At one point, he claimed there was nothing he could do to get a credit the sellers offered me; I ended up calling the management company, asking for help and once they gave me guidance, I had to call sal and tell him how to proceed with the sellers credit. If it were not for me, I would have completely lost the credit because sal just did not care to follow up.

In addition to the overwhelming incompetence, he's also extremely smug and condescending with his tone, speed of conversation and wording choice.

Sal is a straight up wanna be hustler who's sole objective is to be paid and could care less about anything else after that retainer is signed. He's not a good person at all and doesn't deserve a single penny of the 2500+ he charged me.

Recently we sold our coop in Forest Hills, NY and bought a house in Staten Island. It was a very momentous move for us since we had lived in our coop for 37 years. We had several offers that did not come to fruition on our coop prior to and during the covid epidemic and post covid. Throughout this period of about 3 years we worked closely with our broker who introduced us to Sal at Razavi Legal to handle both transactions. In order to sell our coop we needed the lien termination on our coop for our mortgage and several documents pertaining to our shares in the coop. Sal helped us acquire these documents which was no easy task and required back and forth communication with our transfer agent and the lender. When we did finally sell our coop Sal was available at any time we had a question or concern. No matter was too large or small for him to consider and handle and advise us on how to proceed. He even returned our phone call just before boarding his plane in Toronto during a snowstorm. Since these were simultaneous transactions scheduled for the same day Sal arranged for the sale proceeds of our coop to go directly to the seller of the house we were buying which required coordination of the two closings with all of the other parties. He was always cool, calm and collected and handled both closings with relative ease and cordiality - we have since received two separate closing binders that reflect each of our transactions with all of the pertinent information and documents. Sal took us through both closings every step of the way and we greatly appreciate the time, effort, energy, efficiency and dedication that he showed us throughout the entire process.

Highly recommend Razavi legal. Sal was extremely thorough, responsive and provided excellent advice with our best interest in mind throughout the sale of our coop apartment. Working with Sal was a great experience— the entire process was seamless and we trusted him implicitly. Would 10/10 hire again for future real estate needs.
