Our concrete driveway, sidewalks and patio were a complete disaster. A previous owner had painted them, and most of the paint had flaked off leaving the concrete surfaces looking discolored, splotchy, and very ugly. We take pride in our home and work hard to maintain its exterior and surrounding landscaping, but the way the concrete looked completely took away from our efforts, which was extremely disappointing.

Although we tried several other companies to see what could be done, only Joshua and Real Help Concrete were able to offer solutions. Our concrete restoration was challenging and required multiple approaches and techniques to get it looking good again. In fact, the original project scope expanded significantly to achieve the results both Real Help Concrete and we wanted. Joshua stood by his original quote, however, and absorbed the increased labor and materials costs for the job without passing any of them on to us.

Joshua and his highly trained team who did the work were professional, courteous, and took immense pride in the work they did. It was clear to us that our satisfaction was their umber one priority, and it showed throughout our entire engagement. We now have concrete that looks like it was just poured. It no longer detracts from the overall look of our property but adds beauty to it.

We had been told by 4 other concrete companies that nothing could be done with our 15 year old stained/stamped pool patio. Real Help was our last appointment (and our last hope). I am so thankful we called them. The transformation is astonishing, I am still amazed every time I look out back. The only problem is that the rest of the back yard looks drab and old compared to our "new" patio. I definitely recommend that everyone call them if they are looking to transform their concrete.

We just had a decorative stamped concrete patio completed by Real Help Concrete, and we love how it turned out! Josh, Matt and their crew were professional, prompt and did a fantastic job. I want to say that our patio was challenging: we live downtown and the space between houses to access our backyard is tight, our street is narrow, we had grade issues that needed a creative solution to get water to drain right…and not only were these challenges taken in stride, but they came up with a good plan to deal with the grade! The end product is a beautiful patio that drains water away from our home. I highly recommend this company: professional, responsive and very high quality work! Josh's team did an absolutely amazing job on our driveway, sidewalk, and stamped patio. They were on time, professional and knowledgeable. It was an absolute pleasure to work with them and worth the wait to be on their schedule. I would highly recommend them, their attention to every detail is incredible. They communicated every step to us and even provided timelines as well as the information on maintaining and sealing the driveway, sidewalk and patio in future years. An excellent and beautiful job!

Here we are a few years later, and we went with Real Help again. This time around it went smoother. We had our garage floor replaced as well as a walkway and back patio. There were a few hiccups that did occur, but we were please with how it did turn out. And I get it, things will happen with that much concrete being installed.

The excavation crew that's contracted by Real Help wasn't the greatest. With how much they had to remove, concrete wise, I will say they did work hard. However, with the excavation crew a few things were not ideal. They missed a section of yard that was supposed to be removed for the new pour, which they had to return to remove. Cigarette butts were found in the yard after they left (I get it here too, but put them in your pocket or something when you're done). Also when they backed their truck on my driveway for the removal of old concrete from the garage, the truck left oil spots on my driveway, which they did come back and try to remove, but the effort just wasn't there. They poured some type of soap on the driveway to get rid of the stain, and rinsed the soap off, which did nothing for the stains. Also left a small crack in my garage slab that was not being removed. A couple of these things are petty, but I gotta tell it like it is.

Back to the real Help crew. This time around was a much better experience. A couple issues with the pour afterwards were addressed. They came back out and did what needed to be done. They even resealed my driveway (which we had them install the first time we used them), which was great. The seal this time around was applied much much better.

They do a great job, and their employees are courteous. They never made anyone feel uncomfortable and answered any questions I had. They always got back to me too, with whatever question I had. I'm sure I drove them a little crazy at times, but they were really cool.

We are really happy we went with them, again. The first time was a bit of a let down (it was still a good turn out, but certain things were missed), but they made up for it this time around.

So, in closing, I'd recommend them for any concrete projects you might need help on. If we need their services in the future for anything, we're happy to go with them again.

Real help did the concrete work for our pool and patio. From start to finish the work was professional. On time, on budget, and a true addition to the back yard resort feel.
